Don't some AES's have an LED in the back somewhere?
Won an auction for 4 Game Boy cartridges for $55.09. One of them was Mega Man V. The other three were far less remarkable, but respectively contained the words "Kong," "Mario," and "Earthworm."
This pleases me.
I also picked up three Mario 3 cartridges from Goodwill for $3 each. One of them will permanently added to my collection, while the other two will be used to finance future purchases.
This also pleases me.
Tonight I found a GBA SP power charger at Goodwill for a buck. The other night I stumbled across an official NES power adaptor, also for a buck.
Both times, I was pleased.
Every AES actually has an LED on the motherboard, like almost every MVS board, but obviously the LED can't be seen through the black plastic shell.
ApolloBoy, sorry but I'm an AES purist. I don't want my AES to have mods done to it. Not that I feel my skills are inferior, it's just so many AES systems are already modded, it's a bit difficult to find a loose, unmodded AES system cheap, without spending $100 on shipping. It took quite a bit of waiting until I snagged mine. I would definitely make an S-Video encoder box for use on my AES, but I'm not drilling holes in the console itself.
On MVS, not quite so, haha. I'm gonna be consolizing an MV-1B soon enough... Just waiting on some parts. I'm thinking of maybe getting a NeoBiosMasta...
Can a mod move these posts to a Neo Geo thread?
Picked up a copy of U.N. Squadron (SNES) at Play N Trade earlier today.
today I picked these up:
soul calibur II, for gamecube $6.99
kiss pinball, for playstation $2.99
atv offroad fury 3, for playstation 2 $2.00
I also saw a complete copy of boogerman for sega genesis for $12 but I didn't pick it up since I have it for snes.
I got a NTSC Darxide repro in the mail on Friday, got a chance to mess around with it this weekend and was quite pleased with how the game plays! I just need to gut an copy of MK2 or something and print out a cover now. I'm debating trying to put together a manual as well since I've never seen a matched US one, just the bit multi-language EU one.
JVC X Eye for $68.66
CD siding not working do to a JVC wall adapter with only 6v included. Just ordered one so it will be up and working in no time.
Got my Mega Everdrive PCB in.. I slapped something together to make it look somewhat presentable.

Sega Saturn model 1, Sonic 3D blast and Saturn Controller Model # Mk-80116!
I've never used one of those. Can you also play Sega Master System and 32X games with it?
the Saturn as far as i know can't play any of the older cart games.
