Neat
My Japanese copy of Daytona Circuit Edition arrived today! The only problem is that it arrived at my dorm, not my home. I ordered it thinking it would get there before I left for break, but they weren't lying about the Dec 20th delivery date. I have something to look forward to at least.
Got my Neo Geo AES Gold Edition in today!! Woo! Now time to go crazy... and broke!

Dude, how the hell are you gonna afford to buy games for that son of a bitch!
It is possible to be a cheapass and own a Neo Geo you know. All of the following AES games I've bought have been under $30 each:
Magician Lord (CIB)
NAM-1975 (CIB)
Fatal Fury (CB, US)
Fatal Fury 2 (CB, JP)
World Heroes 2 Jet (CIB, JP)
Samurai Shodown II (CIB, JP)
Ghost Pilots (C, EU)
King of Fighters '96 (C, JP)
Still, my absolute best deal has been a complete KOF 2003 MVS kit, like new, for $43 shipped. The seller was an awesome dude and the game rules.
As Guntz said it is possible to be somewhat frugal and still amass a small collection. I'm going to get the Daedalus MVS to AES converter and pick up some of the multi carts so I can play all of the games I want to play and then just look around for some good deals on some carts.
You bought a $600 AES system, are going to spend $400 on an MVS converter... To play shoddy multi-carts? There's something wrong there. If you were gonna play MVS games, maybe you would have rather liked a consolized MVS system. For $600, the Omega CMVS is very classy.
Since you already have the AES system, I suggest picking up some actual AES carts first. Put the idea of an MVS converter further down the road and eventually branch into MVS carts.
Or, you could go the totally gamer route and keep an eye out for cheap conversion carts.
I said that I was going to buy a multi cart to play all of the games I want to play until I can find the ones I want on AES.
Dude are you seriously stretching a 4:3 game to a 16:9 screen? Also, those buttons on the joystick would drive me bonkers. I mean it's fine for Christmas decorations but otherwise they're very distracting.
OMG I know! How dare I! I'm such an asshole! Haha!
Oh, well that's a bit different then. Just keep in mind though, multicarts don't sell so hot second hand.
He bought the stick pre-modded. Not a whole lot he can do about it now, except maybe open the stick and cut the voltage lines for the LEDs.
