Small Rant, will have a haul post soon hopefully.
This sucks. I got a notice for me to come pick up a package on Tuesday. I have to pick it up because they want to charge me a $25 import tax! Out of all the hundreds of items I've bought from other countries, this is only the second time I've been hit with an import tax.
To be honest, I don't really care about the import tax, this is the part that really pisses me off: There's around 10 Canada Post's in this city yet they pick the furthest possible one. Even worse, this post office is open M-F from 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM. THAT'S IT! Those hours fucken suck! There's a perfectly good Post Office that's 1 KM away from me, and it's open 7 days a week with longer hours.
It's Thursday now and I still haven't picked it up. I'm going to have to drive across the city and I don't have snow tires so I've been waiting for a good time to pick up it up. But the only time it's gotten nice out so far is after 5:00 PM when that Post Office is closed.
Ugh :furious: :bang:

After a 6 month break from game hunting with a whopping 3 games purchased off folks I know, felt so good to hit the Play N Trade.
Lmao at everyone still guessing; it's a top-loading NES with the original dog bone controller! I told you it wasn't that rare .
So it's come to this: Game Boy Color games...
Top Gun Firestorm
Monsters, Inc
LEGO Racers
All three CIB for $4 each.
Shit games, for sure (except LEGO Racers, prolly), but these days finding complete GBC games is akin to finding complete N64 games.
I also picked up a CIB Nintendogs: Chihuahua & Friends, also for $4.
There's a retail store called Game N Trade that I discovered recently. It was from there that I had picked up that Mega Man NES bundle (1 thru 5) for $150. Today I picked up
Rolling Thunder (NES) for $2.99
Klax (Genesis) CIB for $4.99
Mr Do! (SNES) for $19.99
They were also having a Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale, so Rolling Thunder ended up being free.
At another Goodwill I picked up Ultimate Unauthorized Nintendo Game Boy Strategies, which includes tips & tricks for 40 of the newest, hottest Game Boy games, including Castlevania Adventure, Super Mario Land, and Revenge of the Gator. I'm sure this will be an indispensable source of information.
Posted a few pics of all my famicom pickups in the famicom topic.
This came yesterday, a 100% complete copy of Breath of Fire II for the snes. Total price $38

It's got everything EXCEPT the game, so make that 100% to 60% complete for the time.
Speaking of the SMS II console, I bought this (the same one I said I saw before):

It cost $45. I also bought Batman Returns, CIB and in nice shape (also Canadian version), for $10. I got them from a local store, awesome place.
Bought several Complete N64 games:

After 3 weeks of waiting, my copy of Edono Kiba is finally here!
Total: $17 (won it on an auction to!)

Since there's almost no videos of this game on Youtube, I figure I help it out.
Spotted a horrifically yellow PS1 in my local Cancer Research store a few days ago, on top of what I assumed was a carry case for it.

The price? £10 on the tag, when I got to the counter and explained I didn't want the Playstation... £5! that's about $7.80 :D
