Pretty much arcade perfect, with faster loading times than the NGCD.

I went to Pastime Legend in Albany yesterday to trade in my NES + games and my 32X + games. I loved the 32X, but it's just too many wires and it's just a pain to set up. And now that I have a Saturn I didn't see as much of a reason to keep it. I feel like I've been accumulating too many consoles and not giving them the time they deserve. I'm going to focus on my Saturn, Genesis/CD, and GBA for now. Anyway, I got $93 credit and spent some of it to get:
A mint, pristine platinum GBA SP model 001- I don't think it's massively inferior to the 101 model at all. It works very well.
Classic NES Mario 1- GBA (they didn't have Mario Deluxe and I wasn't really paying out of pocket for it, so whatevs. I'm happy with it)
Mario Advance 4
I didn't spend all of my credit, so I think I'm going back there to get a CIB Galactic Attack. I'd like to get the Japanese version, but I can't pass up the price.
I also passed up on getting a Nomad, it was only $54. I was this close to getting it, but I thought is it really practical/do I really need it? It's too big and I don't need my Genesis on the go. I'd probably end up just using it plugged into the wall. Plus don't they suffer from bad caps like Game Gears?
Doesn't kevincal post here? I just bought an issue of die-hard game fan from him.
Villahed lives in Mexico, everything there is overpriced compared to the US.
It's not just the value of currency, stuff can be more expensive depending on the country.
I really don't post much under this thread but today I thought I would take the time to finally post some pick ups. Last week I picked up quite a few titles to include in my gaming library:
1. McDonald's Treasure land Adventure CIB - Over the years I've seen quite a number videos featuring this game but when I plugged this game in the old cartridge slot, I did not expect the game to be quite as good. Although the game is not terribly difficult compared to some of Treasure's other offerings, some of the effects are a treat to behold. In my opinion, not every game needs to be exceedingly difficult to be appreciated. Heck, I enjoyed "Castle Of Illusion" and it wasn't very difficult. In the end, I am so happy to finally have this game in my collection.
2. Another title I finally obtained was Granada CIB - Again, it's a game I've been looking to obtain CIB for quite a long time. It's a game that harkens back to some of the games I played back in the arcade. It has that sweet old school flavor that I've been longing to play on my SEGA Genesis! I am very happy to finally play this game!
3. I finally have "Raiden" CIB in my collection! Wahoo! Admittedly, it's a little odd to play this older title after playing some of the newer titles on the XBOX 360! That fact alone is probably why I initially found that the game was not as visually attractive on screen. Bull hell, it's turning out to be quite a fun little shoot'em up!
4. Super Smash T.V. CIB - I always knew that this game would be fun but I never found a decent copy to purchase! At first I felt that it was a bit weird playing this game using a SEGA Genesis controller but after a while I got used to it. I am sure I will feel a bit more at home when I play the game using my arcade joystick!
5. Final Zone CIB - I already have the SEGA Mega Drive version but I always wanted the NTSC version for the cover art!
6. Last but not least I finally got "Back To The Future III" CIB - Although I knew this gamewasis terrible, since I was a fan of the Back to the Future franchise I've been on the hunt for a decent copy of this game. I played this game for a few minutes and tried to find some redeeming qualities but ended turning the console off. I should mention here that I never passed the first stage! :p I suspect that I'll need to be in some sort of sadomasochistic mood in order to complete this game!
Oh I almost forgot ... one more!
7. Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed! Tonight I am going to turn off the lights, park my butt on the Sofa, and race all the mofos on screen! Golden Axe stage ... here I come! :)
Sonic Racing Transformed is a pure treat for any Sega fan. Wonderful nostalgia. Did you pick up the Outrun and Metal Sonic DLC?
Got this bad boy in today...

Is it okay to have the pcb without a case?
Just don't rub the PCB around on a carpet and you'll be just fine. Static electricity can short out chips you know.
