I've only seen 1 LaserActive TurboGrafx 16 controller in my entire time perusing ebay. The US Turbo PAC is just so ridiculously rare it goes for like $400+ already.

I always try and have people ship LDs in the boxes designed for shipping vinyl. Hard corrugated cardboard which seems to hold up pretty well against the elements. Actually I just had a lady I bought a bundle of LDs from who was so close to doing it right but stacked a ton of them together without padding so the corner on every single one was bent when the box was apparently dropped during shipping. It just broke my heart when I got them all and saw that.

I've got a set of megaman 5 figures from 1992 coming in the mail next week from japan, the set has: megaman, rush, protoman and all 8 robot masters. I paid $52 shipped for the set, which isnt a bad deal for some vintage megaman collectibles. these will be going on top of my game shelf and I'll post some pics soon.

Rendering Ranger R2, It's got pretty much EVERYTHING but the game and manual. It is still in the works with the maker so once that's done, it well be a complete set.

Thunderblaze16, for a repro the quality is quite good. If I didn't know better, I would have presumed that the game was an American release. I like how it is accompanied with a mail-in card and various pamphlets! Nice touch! The authentic Super Famicom version commands an insane amount of money currently. What are your overall thoughts regarding R2's gameplay? Also how does it stack up to other 16-bit shmup titles you've played?

Good game! It's funny, well written, and controls very well. Also, it has a gamma slider which should be mandatory in all Wii U games.

I was browsing ebay tonight and stumbled across this auction that ended in 5 minutes that no one had bid on. So I threw in a bid for the minimum figuring what the hell. Ends up I won:

Yeah, they've been on the rise lately. most SFIII's have been going for $125-$150 lately. My ideal price would be $80ish, but I haven't seen a decent condition complete copy in that range in years.

Shining the Holy Ark is starting to get to that point too. Though there are still some copies of it in the $60-$75 range. The one that really ticks me off is Shining Wisdom. That's now up to $125-$150ish thanks to stupid people. A few years ago that one was in the $40-$60 range because it was considered the worst Shining Game on the Saturn.

Not gaming related but I thought this was kind of cool to find, especially for the equivalent of only a couple dollars each.

Yeah, everything Saturn is going up in price if it's a semi-decent game. Thankfully I'm down to only a couple US games for the system that I want (mainly the MegaMans), but some stuff is bonkers nowadays. For a barometer, I paid like $70 for my Shining Force 3 like last year from a local collector.

Since this is the haul thread I guess I'll post some recent stuff:

I got a bundle of maybe 10 Xbox games (mainly junk, but a Doom 3 and Chessmaster was included) for about $12, and extra black GameCube and bongos for for $15. Plus from GameStop I got Online Chess Kingdoms for like $2 in store, but the cool thing was someone had hidden a 1GB ProDuo (nothing bad on it thankfully) in the manual, bonus! I also picked up a Pikachu 3DS XL from TRU but haven't cracked it open yet.
