All I picked up was a $50 PSN card and some digital goodness, Monster World IV, D&D Chronicles of Mystara, Simpsons, X-Men, Zanac X Zanac. Had to pass on a GBA Yoshi's Island and an SNES Lion King (got it for the Genesis a month or so back). Genesis stuff at this Play N Trade was either stuff I had or didn't want, so a dry run for that.

I got the AV Famicom because it's cheaper and less work than an NES top loader. If I could I'd get an NES with multi-AV, but I don't have that kind of money to blow. I got some Famicom games so I'd at least have something to use while I wait for a pin adapter, or in case it breaks for something.
Honestly, the AV Famicom is the better option if you ask me. Most games shouldn't have a language issue for the most part save the RPGs. And a lot of the games are better thanks to being Disk System games or using expansion audio. For the few games that have language problems you can just get an NES adapter, or buy translated carts from the people who do make them.
Actually it's a heck of a lot easier to find NES games. I'll still favor them over Famicom carts, which seem to be import only, very hard to find on this continent. How does the Disk System make games better? The games aren't easy to find and there's no easy way to refresh the data on them (a method to prevent floppies from going bad). Yes expansion audio is good... But the only games that have it seem to be expensive.
Speaking of translated carts, I'm going to buy some EPROMs to convert Final Fantasy III and Fire Emblem Gaiden. Hopefully that all turns out well.

- Pilotwings (SNES)
- Virtua Fighter Kids, Saturn (complete)
He had SM64 and Jet Force Gemini, but the labels were FUBARed, so I passed. I'll definitely hit him up for another round, as he had more N64 games (including the wrasslin' ones) and some SNES titles. He also has Baku Baku complete for Saturn.
Had the one for the 360 on the left and I'm quite enjoying playing on it, and I figured since over here it's going so cheaply, why not get the one for the PS3 as well,

I thought I was done with stuff showing up this week. Got Battletoads on Amazon. It was the first retro game I've bought on Amazon. I must say the price was great even though I was pretty apprehensive. Also got some SNES dust covers for $1 each. I can't believe people on eBay are paying Over $2 for these things.

Well starting July 1st, I switched up (complicated process) from collecting Sega Genesis games to collecting Hockey games. Today I got 5 items to add to that collection. And all for PC.

Oddly enough, while the NHL Championship 2000 disc was for PC, it had an SLUS number on it which is really odd.
