That's a keeper! Popful Mail is one of those series' that deserves to be brought back in the best way possible. I wish Falcom would do something special with Popful Mail in a similar vein to Ys, Legend of Heroes, etc. The SEGA CD version is overflowing with quality. SEGA and Working Designs certainly helped with that. The only drawback to it that I can think of is the steep difficulty curve.

Rep for you for overcoming the insane cost!

Those video game versions of Monopoly on classic systems (Game Boy, NES, Genesis for example) are a guilty pleasure of mine. There's a bit of humor which is appealing. Multiplayer is a blast!

I still think the "best" one is the one included on the Monopoly/Boggle/Yahtzee/Battleship compilation for DS from 2005, if only for the utterly unintentional hilarity of dancing Monopoly guy on the pause screen. He even breakdances a bit.

As for actual best, though, I'd go with EA's version for the DS, if only because it's pretty fast, and doesn't have any of the additional crap that those other versions have. Same with the Hasbro Family Game Party games (haven't played 3 and 4, though, so I dunno how they fare), they're quite fast, especially Battleship on the DS one.

Very different, the Saturn version was a first party title after all. The SNES game is a turn based RPG if I remember correctly where as the Saturn game is more of an action RPG that plays similar to Zelda.

Not exactly a 'haul', but I just received Japanese CIB Gunstar Heroes and Super Shinobi II (Shinobi 3). Combined cost ~$55USD, which I can't imagine anyone thinks is cheap, but it's bloody hard to find these games in New Zealand...

Awesome artwork though.
