I only collect for my Mega Drive, Mega CD and 32X and have around 30 games on my list of games to get currently, but it grows as I find interest in games that are new to me. When I feel I am near done with it, which will take a few years, I will move on to another system.
There are maybe six-to-ten Genesis games I still want to get. Probably about 20 DC games, maybe 30 Saturn games, and about 30 Xbox games.
I have one Xbox game left to get. After that, one needs a disc replaced, and a few inserts replaced.
I'll have about 85 games when I am done.
There's 42 Genesis games left on my list, and that's not including Sega CD and 32X (not compiling a list until I actually get the consoles). I've only just started at this, so I think this number'll go down pretty fast once I get some money and take a trip out to the local stores.
Also I still have 55 SNES games I want to get. I have never seen any of them anywhere except Ebay, seeing as I've already cleaned the local places out of all the SNES games they have.
Oh no i'm in trouble... I made a list a while ago of every game I want for every system I have and... 700+...
Oh lord.. As I get closer to being satisfied with my sega collection I go and open another can of worms and now Im at the beginning of a pc engine etc collection. My bank account hates me. On the sega tip im only really looking for eliminate down and a few loose ends of more common games.
Master System: Complete
Genesis: Now that I have a NTSC cart of Pulseman on the way, my Genny collection is pretty complete, sometimes, if I see something for cheap, I'll pick it up...but nothing officially on the list.
Sega CD: Just completed my collection with the recent acquisitions of Lunar the Eternal Blue and Soul Star...
32X: Complete
Saturn: Viewpoint, Megaman X4, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Radiant Silver Gun (if I can stomach an import so maybe not) Panzer Dragoon Saga...
Dreamcast: Complete
N64: Complete
Atari 2600: Complete...
Viewpoint came out on Saturn?! Those Saturn games are a bit expensive. MKT is really expensive so if you expected it to be cheap, you are so SOL. But since you are going for the US version, it's not too bad, but expect $50 +/-. The PAL version is one of the rares PAL Saturn games.
I know this well, I have been collecting Saturn games since it came out practically...Viewpoint did indeed come out on the Saturn, I have yet to actually see a copy though...
A cheap game is usually $15...but well worth it and on average still much cheaper than when they were new [which is my rationalization for spending money on these video games]
Same here. I don't think it quite works for me at this point though (I have around 800 games just for the MD/Genesis/MCD, + spares, & when you factor in games for all the other systems, & all that hardware, it's no wonder there's hardly room left to live in...)Quote:

Still hundreds I'm "missing", but I don't really want to own too many games I can't enjoy without learning Japanese, and there also seems to be a slew of Euro titles / variations I just don't care enough about (sports, & that ilk). So... yeah.
Aside from the odd MD hack, which I'm still happy to pay for, I seem to have switched my attentions to the Game Gear recently - lots of fun to be had with that little console, if you look in the right places :)
I've decided to take up PSP collecting a bit more hardcore. JRPG's that I had no frigging interest in I now want. HELP!
