what bothers the crap out of me?

When most people play old video games from the 80's and 90's, they die at the beginning of the first level on extremely easy games, then they make a crappy video saying how crappy the game is becuase they failed to get through the easiest obsticles, and post it on Youtube. Everybody who does that is completely retarded, because it takes very little brain power to know to jump over enemies, and to jump over pits. When they see moving platforms they are too stupid to even notice the platform is moving and fall directly into a spiked pit.

Come on people, I was able to play these games when I was a 3 year old. How retarded are these people on youtube?

This is the major issue of Ecco the Dolphin.
Most people doesn't want to play it because it's a dolphin game.

Dolphins are for fags! Everybody knows that.
Then if somebody actually plays it they don't get further then Undercaves and claims that the game sucks.

I wonder what it is like for youngsters these days trying to cope with limited lives and energy and having to perform timed pixle perfect jumps. Most modern games I have played are fun but very simple, more like interactive films. Also when you die it doesnt matter because you seem to have a million save points so effectivly you have infinate lives :?

Perhaps they do genuinely find the old games difficult?

..I'm in NO way sticking up for them though! :D

Because they are copying the Angry Video Game Nerd off gametrailers.com, trying to make a name for themselves on the net. Except most of these people are lazy/or just rubbish at it, and can't even manage to pick out a game that genuinely is terrible to tear into.

I saw a Vectorman video like that. I think it was played using an emulator. The player sucked.

What bothers me are things like not having any money, having to ride the bus to work, seeing people I hate. What some moron thinks of some old game really has no effect on me. I know they are a moron, everybody else can see they are a moron and, deep down, they probably know they are a moron too.

The really sad thing is, the true moron does not know they are a moron. The true moron feels they are right about everything, and no amount of arguments / hard evidence will convince them otherwise. Because they're just too stupid to realise when they are wrong.

I'm of the belief that old games are more difficult than modern ones. Shorter, sure, but I think old games actually require a level of skill, whereas most of todays games can be completed without really progressing and getting better at the game.

People who post videos of themselves talking on youtube generally suck. There are only a few people who can pull it off right.

90% of the videos of this type are like some douchebag looking into the camera and says with a robotic monotone voice saying"Um, ok this is like, um, my video. Its um, *checks watch* 9:30...in the morning. And uh this is like uh, my review of uh, Fire Shark and stuff...uh.."

I especially hate it when I'm looking for gameplay videos and instead find them talking over the gameplay rather than just letting me watch it.

Written reviews are better, anyway.

The only reason this bugs me is because I talk to people who play modern games and I tell them about some old game they've never heard of, and then they look it up on Youtube and find these videos and then ask me why the hell I like the game because it sucks.

Old games indeed are more difficult... in today's games there is no such thing as limited lives, and instead you can save whenever, essentially giving you unlimited continues.

I think modern games are easier than older games. I know I usually beat modern games in about a day or two, but older games I think are made a little harder.

98% of user created videos on YouTube are the shit of shit.

There *IS* good stuff on there, but most of it isn't worth the waste of internet.

Gamers today are really weak, obsessed with 3-d graphics instead of skillz.
