Dreamcasts are a dime a dozen thrift shops.
good lord not around here they aren't! I have NEVER seen one in a thrift shop or pawn shop in the last 4 years and I bought all my classics from these kind of places recently. I paid $60 for my current DC and any one I've seen since then fetches that or more. I guess it depends where you are at. Our local classifieds has a NGC on every page, every day. a DC comes around once a month!
Dreamcast.
No contest, Dreamcast.
THey are around here alll the time. I have 3. I bought one just for vertical shooters witha tv I flipped on its side. Most people think they are junk infact. There was one in box not to long that was going for $20. Even Bookmans ,an overpriced used book and game store here, sells them for like $30. I have never spent more then $10 on one. Maybe I should start selling them online or something. I hate to say it as I love it so much but I know few people outside of real gamers who value the Draemcast. Most just see itas the System that got crushed by the Ps2
Wow over here I've seen them at the local weekend trade center for $65 and the local used game shops for $69 and thats with no box! They are almost always going for $60 in the classifieds too! I bought mine at the trade center for $65 with a controller and game. But like I said they are rare around here. I bought the VMU and 3 extra controllers off EBAY for like $15 tho so that was sweet!
Dcs are very cheap on eBay Germany...they often sell for less than a Master System.
Interesting. I wonder how the sales varied form state to state.
DCs are dirt ass cheap in the UK too, but then so are GameCubes...
I paid $40 shipped for a very good condition dreamcast with hookups, 2 controllers, a VMU, and 8 games (mostly crap, but it did have a mint/complete Sonic Adventure in the bunch) off of eBay. You can buy a system with hookups and 1 controller for like $15 shipped on eBay if you're patient.Quote:

Really? I haven't seen a DC in a shop for years (bar that £35-unboxed-with-no-games one I saw about a month ago) - maybe I just look in the wrong places?Quote:

Gamecube consoles are practically worthless now everyone either has or wants a wii
