Man I gotta get off my ass n beat some games. I beat gunstar heroes on hardest setting but used a gamegenie with infinite life because I was just playing for fun to see how intense it gets, so that doesn't count. Alright this weekend ima beat zombies ate my neighbors again startingon level one trying for all bonus levels and secrets found and im going to write down my score this time. I used to be deadly at this game. Then im taking out either truxton or zero wing. word is bond
Played all 162 games my the regular season in NHL 08 with both Buffalo and Rochester. Didn't sim a single game.
I recently beat A/X-101 for the Sega CD and Shadowrun for the Genesis.
Man, Shadowrun is simply AWESOME!
Shadow dancer shinobi was the last one defeated. I'm now trying to defeat Atomic Runner, unfortunately i'm stuck at the final boss, lost 4 continues yesterday without even hitting him. WTF???:daze: :daze: :daze:
Ranger X. Innovative, stylish mecha game. It was a little too short and overly complicated though.
Beaten:
Thunder Force V (Saturn) - real ending, HARD with no continue.
Burning Force (MD) - HARD, had to get 1 continue in that last damn stage... [EDIT] Last shot, now beaten with no continue.
Ranger X is sweet. Try it on Heavy, and be sure to pick up the hidden shield 'weapon'.
Woohoo! I beat Phantasy Star 2!!!!!!!
History:
I have played both Phantasy Star 1 and 3 back in the day getting near the end, but for some reason or another I didn't beat either one. A few years back I got PS 2 and 4 in a cart lot I bought, but put them in storage and never played them. So, it was said that I was cursed, that I would never beat a Phantasy Star game.
After playing through Lunar and waiting for Beggar Prince to arrive, I decided to play Phantasy Star 2. Man, this game kicked my ass, I haven't really spent time leveling since Dragon Warrior on the NES. It really pained me when I got to the Dark Force (I forget exactly what it's called in PS2) and he just totally kicked my ass, no contest. I consult a faq and it said you should be at a minimum of level 35, I was at 28. I popped the bitch into the Nomad and leveled in the last dungeon with auto fight while I was doing other things, including watching the Super Bowl.
When everyone got to level 35, I went to that boss, and put up a hell of a fight. I had to try a few times, but I finally kicked his ass. Went on to the final boss, kicked her ass, and HOORAY! I had finally beaten a Phantasy Star!
Ok, i am going to try and beat space harrier for 32x on hard. I love playing this game on hard it is intense! I had a great session the other day got to level nine without getting hit, then just lost concentration as things started happening in my house around me. I find since i stay up all night working 3rd shift that when i come home i am all coffee'd up and can generally play really well in the morning. Better reflexes for some reason in early morning. God i love this game!
Once you finish, try the even-more-godly Afterburner.

Yeah its the after work buzz you have the reflexes are razor sharp! Giga wing is insane, be sure to put up your high score when you finish. The scores in that game are insane!
Gah, Gigawing 2 was the most ridiculous shmup I've ever played. I think I made a thread about it a while back.
