Exactly, they'll get funding to start up the original mega man series and it'll be like between GTA 3 and GTA 4, In 2001 there was gta 3 and then Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City Stories, and Vice city Stories and then in 2008we finally got GTA and GTA is the only series thats still fun and it's being whored out with a new sequal every 1.5 years. But in 3 years i'll bet we have..
Mega Man 9, Ressurection/Part 3.5/The New Challengers/Turbo Mega Collecter Super Hardcore Edition.
Atleast it's only going to be a download and not a phisical copy.
Are you talking about Megaman and Bass (AKA Rockman and Forte)? Sometimes that's unofficially called Megaman 9, but due to its re-use of bosses and wonky level structure, I don't think it can be considered a full sequel.
I dunno, I'm pretty scared here. I'm afraid they'll pull what they did with Megaman X7 and up and try to make the game 3D. Or screw with the formula or pull a Sonic Team and add a bunch of stupid new characters . Or at the very least, they'll make it ugly with all sorts of... polygons. I'll take large, well-animated sprites any day.
I wonder if Capcom will make it all auto-scrolling stages, and put spikes on the fucking health powerups. It seems to be the end they've been moving toward for a while.
In Mega Man 9 there will be one boss who has some type of ice weapon and another who will have a fire based weapon.
I know because pretty much every other game has this setup too.

Finding Nemo!
Aristocats!
Consider yourself "PWND", Elusive :).
Wow. More of a crossover between 'Sega nerd' and 'Disney nerd' than previously anticipated, I suppose :D
(hang on, Finding Nemo is strictly a Pixar production, Disney only published it IIRC. Snow White had a sequel called Happily Ever After, Treasure Planet doesn't count because it was utterly awful, and there was an Aristocats sequel in the works too. I know it's true because I saw it on Wikipedia *blows raspberry*)
Pfft. COUNTER-PWN: name a Disney sequel that's any good!
...anyway, I'd imagine that Capcom could make a killing by selling the brand-new engine they're using for their Bionic Commando remake on the Xbox Live Arcade and PSN services. It's be simple to adapt to the Megaman formula, which (let's face it) isn't the most difficult in the world to replicate.
