I celebrated by rewatching The Gumball Rally, which involves Raul being a proper boss pimp. Of course, the only acting he did was be Italian, since the boss pimp-ness was already present.
He had a private band that followed around so he could have music while bedding countless women.
He ripped off the mirror of his Ferrari and said "The first rule of Italian driving: What's behind me is not important"
He taught a girl he just bedded to drive his ways so he could then hop into his own Ferrari while going 130 mph.

I have heard legend, spoken in hushed whispers that Raul Julia was to be the original spokesman for Colt 45. Raul then bequeethed the honor to the far inferior Bill Dee Williams out of his compassion for the workers in the production plant since if Raul Julia was seen drinking one, the waters on earth could not provide enough for the demand and as a caring man, he could not be witness to the working of the poor laborers who would be working 24 hours a day, 366 days a year. (Yes, they were to increase the year by one day as a day of honor and worship for Raul who graciously declined by appearing in all the capitals of the world at once in spiritual form as he danced the Mamushka in the South of France with Brigitte Bardot, Raquel Welch and Julie Newmar.)

The word is spreading.

I have to admit, I was very confused by all this Raul Julia talk when I first came here. Nowadays I get a nifty little thrill reading the reactions of newcomers. They either give it a solid "WTF" or hop immediatly onboard to be accepted by the community.
Sheep, that's all I gotsta say.

Every forum needs its own silly quirk, any self-respecting community isn't complete without one. I get (and got) the satire: it was with that in mind that I created that sanctuary to shelter the unaffiliated from the warring temples as well as *lightly* make fun of them. It was a concept ahead of its time, I suppose.
Keep in mind that I say "war" as if Christopher Lambert has appeared in more than two signatures . . .
