#1 to show people what the games look like because they are so rare no one has ever seen them. In this case, it would make more sense to take a hi res picture than to show grainy, poorly lit youtube videos about them, and in the case with the mexican collector, pointless because all his games have torn labels and marker all over them.
#2 to tell people what games you have. Why not just type up a freakin list, or, again, take a damn picture.
#3 to prove to a d-bag that is denying your claim that you actually own them, in which case all you would do is show the games and say "see *insert asshat screenname here* I do have these games *shows middle finger"
#4 to make an "educational" video where you talk about how hard to find and awesome your collection is. This is the only possible explanation any of these users could give for making their video and the fact that their collections are neither truly rare nor is the information given accurate in any way they deserve to be corrected and ridiculed. It is now and has always been my opinion that the worst legal thing you can do to someone is give them wrong information because you were too lazy or too stubborn to find out the real answer and go around acting like an expert when you're not. My cousin's ex-wife (when they were still married) worked at Cingular and swore up and down I would kill my battery if I didn't run it all the way down before charging. Skeptical, I went online and researched it and found out I had a lithium ion battery and they don't suffer from the memory effect. In other words, she was completely fucking wrong yet acted like she was more sure than anything else ever in the world she was right. If this girl that apparently works at gamestop (I think she mentioned it, but I can't stand to watch it again to find out) would even spend 10 minutes on Wikipedia she would know that over 90% of her collection is comprised of some of the highest produced games ever made. If anything, she should have named her video "HOLY FUCKING HELL LOOK HOW MANY INCREDIBLY COMMON AND POPULAR GAMES I HAVE!!!!" because that would be a much more accurate title since pretty much all of them are way over fanboyed and eBay price hyped. The only games I saw that might truly be rare are Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix and Chocobo Dungeon 2, and I'm not even sure about those, I'm just basing that on eBay price hype.
