Okay, so now that summer is here what kinds of food/beer/drinks are you guys all looking forward to?
I personally can't wait for the 90 degree weather so I can chow down on some ribs, and down it with a frosty German Wheat Beer (failing that, a nice cold PBR will do!) .
What are you guys looking forward to?
I get 110 degree weather so lighter food is good. I always eat hot food but it is great during summer seeing as it cools me off a bit.
you just reminded me that it's Salmon and Halibut season now!

No particular obligatory summer food for me, just the obligatory bloody wasps (that come from 100 miles around at the faintest whiff of anything at all sugary) and then the obligatory running away...
Oh, actually, i have one - Thornton's Ice Cream (eaten indoors :p)

I'm eating the food from the restaurant at my work, the same as the elderly eat. Not bad considering I get it for FREE.
I dunno.. I eat the same/any types of food regardless of the season. But.. potato salad and steak comes to mind for summer food. And not that nasty ass store bought potato salad. Mustard and/or eggs do not belong in potato salad. Fresh chopped onions, garlic, some claussen pickle juice, dash of vinegar, mayonnaise, and lightly boiled/peeled/chopped red potatoes...hmm hmm
Yeah, I like winter icecream too. (There aren't any goddamn wasps. And if it's raining there aren't many people either :) ) But they only sell Thorntons icecream in the summer - dessert facists!
