Here's my latest piece of Sonic art. It features both Sonic & Tail in the Oil Ocean Zone. I made Tails green because the sky is orange. Tails has no legs, but this is obviously because he is in the oil with Sonic giving him a five-fingered hand out. Sonic is also a bit fat and only has one arm. The context of my picture clearly symbolises the strength of friendship.

Nice Street of Rage pic, wish I had half your drawing talent - I used to do a bit of photomanipulation though, this is probably the best one from my DA account;

I'm not overly artsy, I stick to technical drawing.

This is reminding me of Colossal Con where we spent a hour just looking at horrible fan art, and Jae trying to make sense of it all, then crying.

Mr.Smith's artwork will make many 4yr olds jealous.

Mostly for the "Your mom lets you use the computer by yourself?" aspect.

Ah, my lack of artistic talent makes me sigh.

Mr Smith's drawing reminds me, though - when I was in year 7, we had to do this English project, involving a storyboard type thing featuring a hero, villain, etc (I forget the details). Everyone else did fairytales & the like, and I decided on The Story of Sonic - complete with colourful pictures, the last of which was the first boss in Sonic 1! It got me an A, despite the shoddy artwork, and made a few people irritated, and many just... confused :)

Shame I don't still have it (the school stole it, along with all my English stuff from y7-9 :(), or I surely would've attempted to prod my scanner 'til it worked and put it here. Owell!

That drawing is water damaged and who knows what it would cost to ship it to jolly old England (where it must first be hand inspected by Her Majesty). I'd have to buy a tube or something to roll it up into which would increase the shipping cost. The size is about, ummm, I don't know metric but it is bigger than your standard piece of notebook paper.

All I know about metric is that it is in increments of 10 and that a kilometer is less than a mile.

Which is why driving 100km/h is not as exciting as driving 100mph.



For those in the UK, it is true that "miles" are still used?

I thought the Queen demanded all things be metric or she would destroy half of England with giant robots.

Imperial units are still used on the roads over here. We also drive on the left which makes us better than the rest of the world. Generally everything else is metric, except if you ask people either their height or weight, for some reason the answer always comes back in imperial. I am confident Her Majesty would allow such an awesome piece of artwork to enter our realm.

Miles are still used on the roads (and in cars i.e. mph). It'll be a cold day in hell before Brussles take my miles away.

Left-hand drive on the right side is *FOREVER*.

Joe has a lot of awesome drawings. I love that really big one which name I forgot but which had a lot of painful obstacles on the way to the big pile of money with hot chick inside :)

I need to update my DA... I tend to forget it exists... and I haven't drawn much anything... except electronic schematics :P

Thanks :). Oh, I don't know about mural. I don't like them and my painting/drawing style is specialized in small and detailed stuff. I plan to put more of my stuff on the walls though :).

Alright, 'tis a suggestion. :) Frankly, I don't put pictures and things on my walls often, they automatically form a pillar of stuff on my bedroom floor. And with the amount I draw, that's a tall pillar. :(

Oh, dear.... well, I stopped by anyhoo. :D

Art, I think, is some kind of Tri-Force to your life; collect it and it will signifiy some of life's meaning. That's one theory as to why the pyramids in Mexico and Egypt look similar - it's merely an extreme collective of human expression to try and understand things. It also happens when you draw something only to find something similar being created simultaneously or a few years later.

The orginal Goatse however is an isolated case... Except for that Turkish dude on dA who keeps a diary about his 'progress'. :?

I think I might treat you all to another Mr. Smith artwork extravaganza...
