Yeah, the 3rd party cable probably takes the mono signal and splits it to BOTH the red and white cables. It may even be wired so that true stereo can be output if present. I guess this means it can be used with a model 1 or 2 depending on the situation. Yes, I know the SMS is mono but I was asking if you get sound through both cables. It does matter because otherwise you'd have to hook up a Y cable or just have the audio coming from the left side of your room.
That port on the bottom can also be used for an FM sound adapter. Not really worth it since it won't work with all games that support FM sound.

LOL I guess it should be "Korben" but if you remember the movie "The Fifth Element" with Bruce Willis he played Korben and Chris Tucker plays this weird gay guy who ends up with them and when they get shot at or something Chris Tuckers character says "OH MY GOD KORBEN" in a femmish voice I always found to be hilarious.Quote:
