Believe it or not the this 1st gen box has no model numbers or anything on the outside, except for a barcode. So they have just blatently incorrectly listed.

Unfortunately I cant take them to "court". internet purchases are only protected by the countries laws if the company the product is purchased from is in the same country as the buyer. Hence this is were things get tricky.

Play-asia probably know this.

Anyway...the Federal Police can deal with this by dealing with authorities in the repective country the seller/company is in. It is then up to the other side for any action to happen. I am not sure of the links between Hong-Kong and Australia. However in Australia we are quite safe if we are dealing with what is called the "G8" (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, United Kingdom and United States)

Yeah Discountgames almost got me once, they told me that they didn't get the money order I sent. But as soon as I filed a dispute and gave them the number of the money order, they just happened to recieve my payment. I waited about a month and half to get them. That just goes to show that the sqeeky wheel gets the grease, remember that. Oh yeah, Discountgames is no more.

To update everyone...

Play-Asia have offered a refund. (however....they have not stated if it is a full refund). It was only offered once I put the paypal claim in.

However they have only responded via their own internal email system. Play-asia have not responded to any messages send to them via paypal security centre. Call me paranoid....but I think they dont want to respond and confirm a refund in paypal's internal messaging system, so that when I send it back to them, they can say they never received it, and get away with it and my money!

I dont think I will be buying from play-asia again
