oh dude, I played the Japanese version months before the Dreamcast was even released in the US and almost shat my pants. Even today the graphics and gameplay feels modern compared to any PS2, XBOX, or Gamecube game.

Metal Head. I think it's a fair FPS.
it hasn't aged well, but for its time it was mind blowing and certainly made anything a Super FX chip could produce look silly by comparison. If they would've polished the controls/gameplay a little more I think it still would be a really respectable retro title.
Let's see. On the megadrive alone:
-Captain America and the Avengers: So much fun I have recorded my attempt to complete it and uploaded it to YouTube (along with all my other LPs)
-Dark Castle: Because I hate myself.
-Golden Axe III: Everyone else seems to hate it but I think it's the strongest of the trilogy. It adds a lot that Golden Axe was desperately needing.
-Atomic Runner: Amazing music and a wonderful premise, ruined by a few niggling parts for some people. I think the whole makes up much more then the parts.
Duke Nukem 3D: I paid a lot of money for that one so I had better darn like it! I love the high difficulty, even if it's caused by huge problems in how the enemies are coded.
Those are the favourites of the bad games I like to play on megadrive. :)
People don't like atomic runner?
Might be a misconception, but anyone I have shown the game too was horrified by the fact that you cannot run backwards. :p
Would Sonic Rush (DS) be a candidate? People are saying any Sonic Game after SA2:Battle is overrated.
Also, I've seen hate-mail about Altered Beast, but it's one of my faves.
Brutal: Paws of Fury suffered the same hate-mail bashings as Altered Beast, but it was a good fighter.
Zero Tolerance even had a bad review here, but it's still on of my faves.
2nd Zero Tolerance
Atomic Runner truly is awesome. Hard as a bitch, but awesome.
Zero Tolerance is my favorite FPS too! I usually dislike FPSs greatly but I love Zero T. I also like Killing Time on the 3DO :gasp:
Night Trap is still one of my favorite Sega CD games.
"How hard could it be to close the door?"
Actually, both of the Sonic Rush games work out to be pretty awesome, and that's pretty much gamings consensus as a whole, so they don't really fit.
But I love Trampoline Terror and The Toxic Crusaders.
