Does this game ever came in a hard plastic case? All the versions I got were in cardboard boxes.
There's one on eBay right now who seem to be in a plastic case, but I'm not sure if the seller just cut the cardboard box and make it fit in the plastic case like I also did when I was young with my Jurrasic Park Rampage Edition...

I think is the same thing for the one on eBay... sadly.
It's not really a big deal, since I don't really care about condition of Genesis games, just so as long as the label on the cart is fine, and some games I want the box/manual. But this wasn't one of them.
The seller answered me. It was as I thoughts...
The game is as you say a cardboard box transferred to the original hard plastic case. WHoever did it, did a good job on it'

"Ristar", an early 1995 Genesis release, only had one print run and came in cardboard packaging. All first-party Genesis games started shipping in cardboard packaging from the fall of 1994 up until its demise, starting with "Sonic & Knuckles" I believe.
