Considering how much even common Metal Gear games have been fetching lately thats actually not that badly priced! The original PS1 game has been fetching $100 and more, not signed or anything special, and its such a common game.
Really? Shit... I saw a few copies in Syracuse for like $25-30. Dunno if they where complete. But it was the original release, not the Greatest Hits.
Can't be too bothered, since I have the PC one. :D

All Metal Gear games have been fetching crazy prices since MGS4 came out, I cashed in and sold my PS1 Platinum release and Gamecube Players Choice remake for some lovely prices - would have been even more had they been the original releases. I'm sure the craze will die off real soon, theres far too many copies of the games in circulation to maintain the silly prices.
I got my MGS Essentials compilation back in june, I even made a thread about it. It's already out of print in 2 months ?Quote:

Well, I saw a while back on Amazon, the only place it was being sold was on the Marketplace. But I went back again, and saw that it was being sold from Amazon itself.

That's funny because supposedly Hideo Kojima didn't have any direct involvement in the NES version. He did the MSX version(s).
Yeah, it's sort of like getting him to sign Snake's Revenge... but I think MSX copies of Metal Gear 2 go for like $100.
