Most disappointing game
Was there ever a game that you were so excited to be released but you were so disappointed after playing it? For me the game was College Football National Championship II. My expectations were so high for this game and it never delivered. It was essentially the same as the previous release. I'm still hurting 13 years later...

Heavy Nova is the only game that needs to be discussed in this thread!!
-
Hmmmm...
Heavy Nova is an underrated, misunderstood and unfairly crucified work of art that's exclusive for the Mega Drive.
And you haters should all be thankful for this honor.
For my part, I was really disappointed on Sonic CD. Ugly game, pitiful design when compared to any other cart Sonics.

Jaws for X-box. Actually I like it a little because if you say screw the whole mission part and just attack the people on the beach its actually great fun for 15 or so minutes. You can swim at top speed and when you hit the beach you will slide up the sand and catch someone unaware and bite there leg and drag them back in the water with you. You can selectively choose which limbs to bite off or just chew on them. I enjoyed biting someones leg and arm off and letting them try to swim back to the shore only right when they get there you bite there head off.
This game could have been great but the controls are a real bitch and the missions suck big time. Still its fun for the occasional 15 minute rampage.
I would say the most dissappointed Ive been in a game would be Rayxanber 2 for pc engine. I read a review of Rayxanber 3 that made it sound like a terrific shooter, only later when I went to ebay I saw Rayxanber 2 and forgot the review was of the third game. So I ended up getting the second one thinking I had a great shooter on the way. Later on it arrives and I throw it in and boom, maximum suckage. I eventually did get the third game and it was quite a bit better but still kinda disappointing. Ima play it more before before I drop the gavel on it completely

X-Perts. I thought it would, you know, be a decent game.
-
For Megadrive its Alex Kidd Enchanted Castle, its just a rubbish remake of Miracle World but with crap controls, ugly graphics and lazy level design. I had waited years to see what the kidd would be like with 16-bit power, such a let down.

X-Perts.
Announced as the visual DKC-killer to push the MD to itīs limits, eith fascinating gameplay.....it turned out to be bad ugly, with horrible controls and bad principle.

Rise Of The Robots
I was unfortunate enough to have spent my hard earned savings on that turd when i was a kid :(.

Streets of Rage 3.
- I do enjoy playing Bare Knuckle 3, but Streets of Rage 3 was an extremely disappointing experience when it came out.

Being a die-hard fan of the movie trilogy i expected quite a lot from Back To The Future, but it disappointed me. Bad controls, stupid levels, not fun at all.
Fantasia is by far the worst Disney game i have ever played, a few good graphics on the first level and that's all.
These two must be the most disappointing i guess...
