after that my Saturday will be spend talking with him and showing him how cool i made his xbox.
The usual party was moved to Friday, and no one came. There was a girl, and everyone was talking to her ( me included, as a bartender ) then she told everyone she was 16 and suddenly lost her popularity.
So, I've probably got nothing today.
I'll be waiting for my Wacky Worlds review to come up. It was sent in around Jan. 10.

but last night one hell of a party

Was going to a bar to watch UFC, but they were too full, then a pool hall, but my friend backed out, THEN I was supposed to bowl with another friend, but when we walked in she saw someone she didn't like so we left, then to Wal-Mart to get board game that she decided not to get anyway.
So, NOTHING HAPPENED.
Uh, I spent the night at my girlfriends house. Yeah.. nothing too exciting.
Watched the Sabres play the Coyotes.
Helped my sister move (now she lives around here as well), went to an Irish pub afterwards, met a nice girl, have a new song stuck in my ears. Overall, a pretty swell Saturday night ;)

So, I'm at a thrift store on Saturday around 11AM, and spot a Sega Saturn with all the cables for $35. Since I have about 3 of these things now I call a friend who I know has been looking for one. Only issue is he lives about an hour away. I leave a voice mail.
1 hour later I get a call telling me he made his dad drive him to my area JUST to get the damn system! ( He sounds spoiled but really isn't ) He called to tell me that he needs an actual AV cable since the one's in the bag are either RF or PRINTER CABLES. I bring my power cord too since I figure whoever put this damn bag together was about 78 and thought it was a Nintendo Computer Windows 95.
I pull into his house with another buddy, since we never see him because he comes to town about once a month. We come in and start talking and go into his room. About 5 minutes later we hear noises in the kitchen. It's his two other friends randomly loading air-soft rifles around a sick cat.
So, after the 5 of us get kicked out of the house, we drive around for a bit and discover a LAN Center called Cold Fusion. If I had money it'd go here. That's another day though. We eventually go back to this house after his dad calms down. We set up the Saturn and it plays perfectly. The battery is dead but that's expected.
I show him Virtua Fighter kids mostly because I like just showing the music. Soon though I'm putting in Panzer Dragoon and we watch him play for the next half hour. He was ENTHRALLED. Me and my buddy had to go and help organize a scavenger hunt, so we left and told him he could keep my games and cables for now.
The scavenger hunt involves walking around Downtown Cleveland and finding crap or doing crap around the city all day. It was a chore getting the list together, but we did a little hookah to pass the time and I tried this stuff called "Z" which is this hot sauce that was made to be a fucking paint thinner, or at least it felt like it. A speck of this stuff had me crying. I'm not kidding.
So, we eventually leave to go back to Saturn kids house. When we get there we're asked to take another kid to work, so I do that and come back. The guy seemed a little tired, but when we asked if he was alright he didn't say anything was wrong.
We get back to the house, and Saturn kid tells us that he shot the guy we just dropped off with a power-line rifle. He shot the guy. In the stomach fat ( luckily he's a good 320lbs ) and the guy still went to work. So, we laughed at the guys expense and sat at Denny's. Denny's is our second home where they let us sit in the corner for 3 hours and talk and drink free coffee. I've written a couple nice songs in that place.
Anyhoo, my buddy needs to get home around 1AM because of work in the morning, so me and Saturn kid go back to his house and bullshit for a bit. We went back out to Wendy's and tried to get Frostys, and I even asked if the machine was off, and they said no. When we pull up they tell us it'll be about 5 minutes since THEY NEED TO TURN THE MACHINE ON. We get our Frosty's though and go back to the house. Eventually, I write a small movie about Saturn kid shooting all his annoying friends ( the kids who were loading guns earlier in the day ) I can't wait to make that movie!
Sunday afternoon is me still over his place and talking about the music on his PSP and going over the script I wrote at 3AM. Then we get asked to demonstrate his Wii to his grandma, and she also has a sick cat, which turns my allergies up about 7.25 notches. Wii Music sucks ass. Mario Kart Wii needs some getting used to but it's pretty awesome.
Then we go to the Boneyard, which is like a local Dave & Busters, and the waitress gives me a funny look when I ask what flavor sauces they have on the ribs. "Who needs more than BBQ and Honey BBQ?"
I do. I'm hungry as all hell by now so I eat a full slab of ribs in about 10 minutes while everyone else nibbles and chats. I wasn't rude, just hungry.
Then we hit the gameroom, which held that damn Tower game where you have to match the red light with the arrow for the grand prize as it goes up and down. Three years ago in Canada I kicked the things ass and won 1000 tickets. Last year the SAME DAMN MACHINE IN THE SAME DAMN PLACE took $50 from me.
So, when I saw it I cried and ran away. There was a cool DDR-like drum game which was pretty addicting, and this weird chair that was supposed to shock you, but instead I vibrated a bit and won 15 tickets. FOOKING ripoff!
Soon we all went home. On my way home from his house I stop at the buddy's place that had to work to show him the script I wrote ( I'm damn proud of this thing ) then I got his room mate to go BACK to Denny's to sit and drink free coffee.
Sadly, it's the most eventful weekend I've had in months.
OK. I'm staying far away from America...
I should probably mention that the rifle he got shot with was another air-soft gun.
Or was it another reason?
I'd still love to see the place but America seems crazy
I'm just going to continue avoiding Cleveland.
