and realized the conversation was closed, he walked away.
Refusing to speak was not enough for the Obama people; they called the police! Two
police officers chased Brian down, ordered him onto the ground. Brian called out for
help, thinking he had committed no crime. The police told him to shut up or he would be
tasered. Brian was handcuffed and taken to jail where he was held for 35 hours. He had to
appear before a judge in shackles and will face a trial by jury in one month for resisting
arrest and disorderly conduct.
The ordeal in jail left Brian visibly shaken and upset. If the arrest wasn't enough, the
Obama campaigners filed a RESTRAINING ORDER which bans him from Church
Street for ONE MONTH! Burlington is a small town, and Church Street is our main
thoroughfare. This is a de facto ban from the town.

Plus, people being arrested/denied entry to functions/things happens in *both* parties. (as sad as that is).
Ugh...I wish the republicans had a better candidate to vote for, I really don't trust Obama as far as I could throw him. I'm especially worried about his national health care b.s. and raising taxes in the middle of a recession (ala Jimmy Carter) and I also think he will say or do anything to get elected...
Damn, we need a good presidential candidate on both sides. I would love if the Democrats stopped being so damn liberal and the Republicans would stop with this "compassionate conservative" bullshit which makes them incredibly right-wing and extremely liberal at the same time.
We need both parties to stop getting involved in social politics, both parties to stop spending OUR money like it was water and get back to fixing the country.
700 billion dollars?! Let it collapse, they all screwed up, screw bailing them out!
Is there a less biased version of that article anywhere? The police brutality isn't exactly the fault of the Obama supporters, and the Mujahideen is not al-Qaeda.
