Its pretty obvious Obama is gonna win.
Mike Gravel and Ron Paul are my heroes.....
Don't believe the orchestrated media swoon of the corporate controlled press. Its narrowing and it will keep narrowing as long as a steady stream of information comes out about Obama's past.Quote:

What the hell are you talking about? All the bad attention is on Sarah Palin who has single handedly destroyed McCain's campaign. I do agree about Ron Paul, he was the best possible candidate this election.
The polls may be "tightening" a bit but it's pretty clear that Obama is going to win, and McCain has essentially accepted defeat. Last week the McCain campaign pulled out of Colorado. They'd already given up Iowa, New Mexico, and every state that Kerry won that they thought they might have a chance in (Michigan, New Hampshire). The Kerry states plus Iowa, New Mexico, and Colorado equals 273 electoral votes. At this point, McCain has basically given up hope of actually winning, and is just concentrating on limiting Obama's victory as much as possible.
I tried really hard not to laugh reading that, no offense. Trust me, if Fox News is right, and we are all just sucked into this "corporate controlled" conspiracy to a elect a Terrorist, who is also a Socialist, who dabbles in Marxism ideals in his free time as President you can come to my house and whip me with a Xbox Duke controller.
Belief what you want everyone, I just think its all scare tactics and loaded words. Of course if I'm wrong I'll have that controller ready.
Telling people that their education is basically worthless tends to have a negative affect on people.
My only problem I have with TheEdge is that he makes connections that arent there.
#1. "Let go of that left-right mentality". We never discussed the Democrats and Republicans, we only discussed Obama and McCain, the only one bring up "this left-right mentality" is him.
#2. "Obama is a corporate controlled puppet". Everyone is calling Obama a Communist and Socialist, why the hell would corporations back him up.
#3. "OBAMAS FOREIGN ADVISOR" What about him? he fought a war by proxy that sped up the demise of the U.S.S.R, the Muhajideen collapses shortly after the war. Even then, I would much rather fight religious fanatics then millions of determined soviets who are well armed and willing to nuke us to the stone age.
#4."You guys are fed by the media" No we are not, if we were we would be saying how much of a dirty pinko commie Obama is and that we would never vote for him. Not all media is filtered, there are journalists out there with integrity that still speak the truth. The problem is, the internet is the most possibly worst facet of media yet you link us to "the truth". TheEdge is basically saying "this is troof, every other media are bold face corporate run liars."
Funny thing is, this is all TheEdge has been saying throughout this entire thread.
Obama is also a podiatrist.
To be honest Obama is not a socialist nor a communist. He is a puppet of Wallstreet financial Oligarchs.
On CNN the other day Obama is out spending McCain 4-1. Where is all this money coming from? If you do some research you will find out most of the money is coming from Goldman-Sachs and JPMorganChase. Remember they pay for services RENDERED, they do not pay the money for the good of society they need Obama to start looting social security and push us into a hyper-stagnating Economic mess while provoking Russian.
Obama is a facelift for Anglo-American Imperialism.

It's coming from people like me. It's not really fair to fault Obama just because his support is/was (since McCain is only using public financing since the convention) more enthusiastic.
You keep posting links, and no one seems to debunk them... so I'll give it a shot!
1. freerepublic.com is an extremist website. Don't agree with me? One of the tags for the site is "homosexualAgenda". Yeah. Damn their anti-America agenda!!! (shakes fist in air). On the main page, an aritcle entitled "Hookers for Obama" is linked, and so is "Conspiracy of the Lemmings: Barack Obama and the Strategy of Manufactured Crisis: Part II"
2. Rense.com looks like something put together on geocites.com. Anyone remember that? And on the main page various ridiculous articles are linked, including: "Marxist 'mentor' sold drugs with Obama". Again, it's an extremist page.
3. Realjewnews.com... well, it's almost too easy. It's a personal blog, which is asking for paypal donations on the front page. On the front page "Obama to Lead the Fourth Reich" is linked. Wow. It's a scary world we live in.
None of these websites is credible. In fact, they're all conspiricy theory sites. The absolute BEST evidence that you've ever produced, is personal editorials from semi-respected sites. Give me a news report from something like the bbc, and maybe then a serious discussion on Obama can begin. Until then, he seems to me to be an everyday politician who happens to inspire millions of people.

Open Season on Pakistani Civilians
He then talked about the Afghanistan-Pakistan border.
"It's where al Qaeda lives. It's there. It's real. We focus so much on the bad policy on Iraq, we sometimes seem to think that somehow there isn't a real problem. Our CIA has pointed out that bin Laden is alive and well, Iraq, excuse me, in the mountains between Pakistan and Afghanistan. He's getting (inaudible) and support from those tribal areas. You have, folks, the Taliban is coming back. We're on the verge of finding ourselves in a position to see the regression occurring in Pakistan.
We talk about Iran getting a nuclear weapon and threatening Israel and us. Let me tell ya something, Pakistan already is bristling with nuclear weapons, all of which can hit Israel right now, all of which can strike the Mediterranean and well into the Indian Ocean."
Generated Crisis?
"And here's the point I want to make. Mark my words. Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. And he's gonna have to make some really tough - I don't know what the decision's gonna be, but I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it's gonna happen. I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate. And he's gonna need help. And the kind of help he's gonna need is, he's gonna need you, not financially to help him, we're gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it's not gonna be apparent initially, it's not gonna be apparent that we're right. Because all these decisions, all these decisions, once they're made if they work, then they weren't viewed as a crisis. If they don't work, it's viewed as you didn't make the right decision, a little bit like how we hesitated so long dealing with Bosnia and dealing with Kosovo, and consequently 200,000 people lost their lives that maybe didn't have to lose lives. It's how we made a mistake in Iraq. We made a mistake in Somalia. So there's gonna be some tough decisions. They may emanate from the Middle East. They may emanate from the sub-continent. They may emanate from Russia's newly-emboldened position because they're floating in a sea of oil."
He sounds great and knows what he's talking about.
