I have my Mega Man 9 soundtrack on order (along with Akumajo Dracula Best 2/Super Castlevania 4 soundtrack) with CDJapan but it's on back order at the moment. Heck, it seems as if the soundtrack is on back order everywhere else I've looked online. I'm not going to listen to the soundtrack until I download the game anyway, so the delay doesn't bother me.
Downloaded it this morning. Great game, I love the idea of the new 8-bit emulator they are using (maybe more games on it in the future?)
Downloaded it a noon and it's pretty damn good. I'm loving the music (my CD soundtrack for the game shipped this morning - awe yeah!). I totally forgot how hard the game is without the slide and charge beam. The graphics are pretty disappointing compared to Mega Man 6 though... Overall, one of the best games for Wii Ware. Hopefully, the downloadable content is good.
Mostly because people have actually forgotten who do do 8-bit graphical tricks, I bet.Quote:

They've deliberately chosen to keep the graphics at a MM1/MM2 level, which was the most basic for the 8-Bit series. MM5 & MM6 started showcasing stuff such as parallax, bigger-sized bosses and more animation.
I suppose that I'll play it whenever I get a next-gen system........better get a head start by snatching up MMAC for P...........oh wait, they're all right here on my PC. And they are better emulated and are not half-assed translations of the Japanese PS1 Rockman collection titles!
Why can't Sega do something like this, except make downloadable "sequels" on a an engine that emulates the Genesis hardware? That'd kick ass.
Downloaded it this morning, but I won't have a chance to play it until tomorrow. Bummer.
downloaded it. played it. really hard in a cheap way. still pretty awesome. nothing will ever touch mega man 2. thats all you need to know.
I have a Wii, so in theory I could get it tonight . . . but I'm going to wait until I can get it on the 360. Kinda pissed about it, though
I guess I'm the only one who thinks this is lame. I liked Mega Man 8. I think Mega Man 9 should build on the style of 8, rather than regressing back to Mega Man 2.
Because it is on a NINTENDO system, duh! Actually the only thing that the Wii offers that the other systems do not is the ability to play in 240p on regular SDTVs. Not sure if this game supports that, though. But many VC games do... from what I hear.Quote:
