its not that they're a bitch to repair, its that in most cases there isn't much you can do. Vintage Genesis and SNES consoles are some of the most durable hardware around. If they're broken, THEY'RE BROKEN. Maybe you can get lucky and solder a power plug here or a controller port there, but generally there isn't much to be done. If there is only 4-6 guys working, sorry, but you're probably SOL. Unless you are practically butt buddies with one of the employees they will take your application and put it straight in the trash, possibly before you're even all the way out the door. Not only do employers not trust younger people to be responsible, but there is tons of red tape for under 18 employees to work around, and with a game store, there are always boatloads of applicants. Not trying to be a dick here, but even when I was 18 and applying at every game store in the city I couldn't get even an interview, and I had nearly a 4.0 with honors, etc. So, like I said, unless the owner is your cousin/uncle/secret lover there is not a good chance. I mean, you can ask, but I'm just being an über realist and saying hope is slim, especially if you don't even have your own license/car.
