Don't be rediculous.
Of course it is not on the same level as one of the all-time most highly regarded 16-bit BGMs (Revenge of Shinobi).

Well, to be fair: He meant good first gen 16-bit BGM, not incredible, timeless, super uber perfect state of the art Koshiro stuff. ;)
Hehe, "incredible [...] Koshiro stuff" is also good to me :). But Zz Badnusty, what BGMs would you compare it to then? And I'm ridiculous, did you get that spelling error from Wukong perhaps? ;)
Yep.
Well, you said the soundtrack was on par with good early 16-bit BGMs as a reply to my opinion that it is on par with NES BGMs and nothing more. You didn't give me any 16-bit BGM examples though, and when I suggested one you disapproved it for being too good (although it is an early 16-bit BGM, so it didn't make sense).
No, it was your disapproval that didn't make any sense.

Zebbe and Zz Badnusty - I'm all for you two (and everyone else) sharing your thoughts and opinions about Legend of Wukong, be they positive or negative, but I feel this petty nipping back and forth has become quite irrelevant for this thread. I really would prefer that such details as hints or gameplay assistance aren't lost in the shuffle of your personal exchanges, so perhaps you could consider continuing them via private message instead?
Thank-you in advance for understanding.
Sure. By the way, CMA Death Adder, why didn't you reply to my feedback? You were really grateful when I commented on Beggar Prince so I really took my time for Wukong to bring an honest and fair opinion, although not as positive as the one for Beggar Prince.
PM me now, Zz Badnusty.
say cma death adder
are you busy with another translation of a game
cause i found another chinese game for the system a rpg/strategy
tiger hunter hero novel
or some games that only stayed in japan
dragon slayer 1 and 2
rent a cop
and some others
i think there s a lot of fans that buy it if you translated it me included
I've got a strong feeling I know the next game they're releasing, and it isn't that...
And those Japan only games aren't going to happen. You'd have to get the rights from Sega and such, much more higher profile than the Chinese companies who make these games. Not gonna happen.
Brandon,
My $0.02, I'd like to see some minigames, very arcadey stuff to pick up and play and not have to ask back and forth. A nice little flying/shooting, maybe a pinball, side scroller shooter with funny commentary, a small collection like that would be great for me.
I have yet to play Wukong so I cannot really comment. But I'm sure it's a good one, regardless, because I am baised :)

Some translation team is working on a Rent-A-Hero translation, acdc. Tiger Hunter Hero Novel uses ripped graphics from other games, so it can't be sold legally without that content removed.
