FS - Genesis Cover Sleeves (In excess of 100,000)

You heard it right. I have over 100,000 Sega Genesis Cover Sleeves. I recently purchased a home and am looking to move; therefore, the more of these I sell - the less I have to move. Also, if anyone would be interested in purchasing all of these - I would listen to offers. I have approximately 1,000 Clamshell cases remaining as well.

What I do have is tons and tons of Sega Genesis Cover Sleeves.... I am sure some ppl will request the manuals as well, however my selection of sleeves is around 100,000 and manuals around 2,000 so you get the point.

Please only submit serious requests - and again I am willing to listen to offers for the entire lot...currently they are held in about 5 filing cabinets all are either 4 or 5 drawer (deep) filing cabinets, that are completely full with hanging file folders and the sleeves.

I would like to make a request, but not really sure what you mean by cover sleeves. Paper covers that slip over plastic cases? Do you have a picture of an example?? Do you mean the inserts tht go inside the plastic covers??

Yes, that is exactly it the paper cover insert that goes inside of the plastic on the clamshell cases....I also do have some of the cardboard box style cases for genesis too

I'm going to try to just make a list of EVERYTHING I need tomorrow and see what you have. I have about 30+ cart only games that I would like to get at least a box and box art for (maybe some manuals if I'm lucky). I'll send you a PM in the morning hopefully with what I need.

Like genocide said above me, I really have no idea how much a clamshell case, cover art, and some manuals are worth though so if I lowball you my bad.

Well genocide's actions are exactly the reason why I do not offer these all the time. We agreed to a price for each on his list of 14 and promised to pay by that evening. I then went to search and even found 13 of his 14. ALONG WITH SOME MANUALS I DIDNT THINK I HAD. I emailed him the prices - with the option of buying the manuals or not obviously - and shipping as cheap as 5.50 + dc (and he was getting clamshells for all 13) He has never since even taken the time to reply, that was going on 3 days ago....

These kind of 2nd grade antics really drive me crazy honestly....I have about 100,000 - it doesnt take just a second to sort - this took me nearly 30 minutes for him.... all pointless....i have no problem helping everyone with their collections - usually i fill over 95% of orders... but when you send me on wild goose chases and dont have the courtesy to even respond back and you renig a promise - then that really does get frustrating from my perspective....

Case example #2.... when you have a list of all uncommon titles - the mutants, phantasy stars, etc... and long story short offer me 50 cents each and then counter by saying "they are only colored paper" and "otherwise im going to print them off myself" this also makes things frustrating from my perspective....

Regardless, if you are a serious buyer and not going to act like genocide or another sega-16 user in regards to these i am more than willing to help you with your collection. Typically on the more common run of the mill sleeves i ask $1.00 ....clamshells i typically ask $1.00.....genocide i quoted $1.50 EACH w/clam + sleeve ...i typically do that if you buy a bunch... he didnt have the most common of titles either - xmen 2, dune, castle of illusion to name a few....I feel my prices are quite reasonable even at the $2.00 for Case+Sleeve....

This sounds amazing, there's definitely a number of games I'd like to have "complete". I'll figure out the games I'm looking for (for whatever reason, the only game that pops into my head at the moment is Crusader of Centy) and PM you in a bit!

Oh, and do you sell the clamshell cases alone? For example, would I be able to get cover sleeves and then 5 cases? There's a few mangled cases in my collection.

Internal yes i can do that...i have clamshell style w/art work ..but i also do have some of the cardboard box style cases too ....

i am looking to move does anyone have any ideas of how to properly store these BESIDES filing cabinets, lol i have them in 5 different (4 or 5 drawer) filing cabinets - the sleeves are all in filing folders from there lol so if anyone has a better idea how i might house these let me know :)

I have a small list I would be interested in having you check for, but I know it is a pain for you to look through all of them to find specific ones. If I gave you a list would you be able to give me potential prices ahead of time, or like letting me know if x game is rare/unlikely you'll have it and that it'll be more, so I can let you know which ones to look for as not to waste your time.

I would definitely be interested in one cover sleeve for Master of Monsters if you have it. And two manual for Master of Monsters if you have them. I'll get you other titles I'm interested in, but that one stands out for me.

Alright, it's been since Dec 15 since I have heard from you, several PM's and emails have gone unanswered.

Are you disappeared for good? I haven't recieved anything from you since I paid you.

You said you were moving and the stuff needed to go. But for this long?? When I moved it took three days and I never lost touch with people.

Seems like Melf has the sellers AIM screen name, maybe you can get in contact with him that way.

He owes me some stuff too, but I doubt he's going to skip town or anything. I've bought from him before and everything went smooth as butter.

I hope he still comes through as there are still several sleeves I'd like to get.

That really Sucks.
Sad to say that I feel better on not trying to contact him again about the 50 or so inserts I wanted.
It really ticks me off when ppl grab your cash and sit on it for a month or more. I understand that ppl have "things" happening in their lives. But its not the buyer fault.
To me its just Bad business...then again owning a Game store for years made me relize how to keep ppl coming back again.
And even worse when you can see that have been online recently in a few of my cases, and still dont contact you.

Shot in the dark here but anyone here/receive anything from him yet? He PM'ed me a few weeks ago after I had given up hope and said he was done with his move and was ready to "attack the project." I don't think he's going to run off with my money, as I think that if he were to run off with it he just would have stopped all communication as soon as he got the money, plus Melf and others have done business with him with no snags whatsoever.

Bottom line is this sucks. I know he's busy but we all kept up our end of the deal, a few weeks could be okay, maybe even a month if we were properly informed and kept up to date, but this? sorry man that's just not cool.

I'm writing this guy off. I haven't heard from him, and knowing that there are deals in the works, he could get to a computer with internet if nothing else to give an update.

I haven't heard from him since January 3, so it's a lost cause. If something comes in the mail, fine, I will take back anything I say.

I am considering him blacklisted for my purposes. And spreading the word.

Damn, I had sent out a money order as I don't have a paypal account, looks like I basically threw $80 out the window. What really sucks is that right now I'm very hesitant to do business with anyone here in the future, which is sad because (with the exception of Mr. Wild) all of my transactions on this site have been nothing but pleasant.

I still plan on doing transactions here, but I feel how you feel. I've been buying/selling for a while now, and while you do get a bad apple on occaision, I cannot let it get me down. Or prevent me from trying again.

I guess you didn't keep the post office stub from the money order? I thought there was something the post office could do in the case of theft, etc that sort of thing, which is what makes the money order more secure/better than cash.

AD and Nathan - I messaged BOTH of you.... You will be getting your stuff...I just needed addresses, etc...Long story short - I did move this winter - along with other stuff - I got terribly behind - I also had so much stuff moved in an unorganized matter that I am finally starting to get control of it...

Regardless, get me the addresses and it will be shipped within the week man - I am not going to rip you.... i sincerely apologize about you guys having to suffer the from me being super slow during my move....
