Genesis best 16-bit for Comic book games?
I've been thinking about it and I rekon so -
Spiderman Vs the Kingpin - the only Spider-man game I ever played that conveyed the style of the comic book, it had all spidey's moves, loads of depth and ideas, and was kinda' gritty (punching a police officer in the face to continue?!)
X-Men - Big explorable levels, loads of different characters with all their moves, 2 player Co-op, close styling to the Comic (not like that cartoony stuff Capcom would bring out that looked nothing like the comic) loved cheating with Nightcrawler too
Robocop Vs Terminator - Virgin did an excellent job with the Dark Horse comic
the only thing I don't like it the voice clips interspersed with the music of the women/transexual saying "terminator" in a stupid voice
Punisher - The only home port of the pretty cool beat-em-up
Chakan - way too difficult, but recently I've been practising and improving and I have to say I quite like it, especially the styling and weapons and stuff
Captain America and the Avengers - pretty good beat-em-up, the only Avengers game I can think of, and the SNES version was an absolute mess
The Adventures of Batman and Robin - alright run and Gun with impressive graphics, I think in this case though the SNES wins out as their platformer style version I think was probably the better game
Spider-Man: Maximum Carnage was pretty cool but Multi-format
Death and Return of Super-man was half decent but also multi-format
Judge dredd was alright but I think that was also multi-format
there's probably a load I'm forgetting
