Well, Canvas Curse is the only one i'd consider buying, just not for $40-$50. I actually used to own it.
Is the Canadian cover art for the game different from the US version? Does it just show a smiling, ball-shaped Kirby?

That's exactly how I reacted when I heard about Patapon 2's format. I will NOT be buying it.
I'm afraid that's the direction games are moving. Nintendo's DSi has the smartmedia card slot to support downloads, and Xbox Live has spawned a whole online gamine scene. Currently, all the major platforms support both formats to one degree or another, but you know the bean counters want to go to download-only as that increases their profits.
This game had better come out alongside the console versions.

Way Forward's done well enough in making Contra 4 a feature rich game, I can only hope they pack this title with a fucking huge amount of fan service in a similar fashion.
It looks like they have, from the footage. If it plays like it looks i'll be all over it.
