At the lowest level, you merely appreciate video games; you have a Nintendo DS with Brain Age and some Kirby game a grandparent gave you, but your collection will never get very large.
At the next level, you are an avid video game player; upgrading to a new console each generation, and trading in your games for new ones the second you've beaten them.
On the third level of video game nerdiness, you consider yourself a collector. You still have every game and console you've ever owned (or at least have replaced them). You proudly display a Virtual Boy that you bought a garage sale for $25 but have no intention of playing.
The fourth level is reserved for amateur video game designers. You spend years of your lives creating a game that will only be played by a small number of people. You've also built your own computer.
At the top level are WoW patrons.
