When you buy a SMS bundle for $10...

So this guy online told me he had a "Sega machine with a gun, games and controllers" in his garage and wanted to get rid of it before he moved.

I was like "Sega Machine?" and he says "Yeah, I think one of the games is Mega Man and the other is Wonder Boy something"

I'm like "Wonder Boy? Sounds like a Sega Master System" and he says "Yeah that's what it is a Sega Master System" and then he asks me if I want to buy off him.

I already have one and really only wanted the games but he didn't want to sell the games without the system. He said he is moving and wants to get rid of it. I said "I'll give you $20 for it all" and he said "no" and then asked me if he should put an ad in our local online classifieds. I said "yeah I'm sure the right person will see it, I would buy it" I said "but I really don't need one right now"

He then asks me what its worth (Mind you I hadn't seen the condition yet) and I said "$40, $60 if the right person is looking for one around here"

Anyway, he gets back to me and asks me if I'll take it for $10? I said "well yeah I'll take it for $10!!"

I think the dried-up leaf was the added bonus. You could get a lot for that on eBay.

LOL, that was hilarious, when I scrolled down and saw that leaf!! Make sure you clean the inside of the system and the controllers too!!

That`s a bargain and a half, on seeing those first few pics (leaf included) I thought that it might remain a shadow of its former self, that has cleaned up great! Shame on him for having it in such a sad state.:)

Master System box art is the worst thing known to man.

On the plus side, the Light Phaser is four-hundred billion times better than the NES Zapper.

My hand likes the Zapper better.

The smooth trigger in the Phaser vs. that springy trigger on the Zapper?

Phaser = a Ferrari
Zapper = a Yugo.

I like the Zapper and all, but it feels painfully cheap after using a Phaser.

Agreed. Light Phaser for the win. And yes, the SMS box art is horrible, but that's part of its charm!

Also, that joystick... the top twists and turns. It is weird.
