The trigger is good point but I talking about the handle. It hurts my hand. It needs to be at more of an angle. I find the Zapper is much nicer to hold in my hand. When I hold the Zapper it feels like a gun. When I hold the the light Phaser it like trying to shoot something with a hair dryer
They feel of equal quality to me. Both have weights in them to make feel like something is inside of them.
The Light Phaser does have that cool Zillion connection though.

Regarding the stick controller, a friend of mine had the same thing, and he liked it. For one he was left handed, and somehow he used the controller like a stick shift in a car - and it worked out excellently for him.
But surely you ended the friendship right there, correct?
What a dusty dirty mess! but 10$ is cheap for a SMS and last time I looked on Ebay I saw Wonder Boy in Monster Land 30-40$ so thats a bargain.Quote:

Great score! Best I ever did was score a SCD1 and a Genesis 1 with a couple of poor games for $10. The SCD didn't work but all it needed was a fuse. It was missing the metal connecting plate. After buying the connecting plate and a fuse I probably have $20 in it and it's a bit beat up looking but I have a fully functional SCD1, a spare Genesis 1 and a few sports games I wouldn't mind scavenging for cart or box parts.
Yeah me too I like the feel of the handle and the trigger better on the Zapper BUT the Phaser works so much better and more accurately and therefore wins overall. I like how games with the Phaser can show where you hit on the screen when you miss but the Zapper can only know when you hit the target or don't hit the target. It doesn't know where on the screen your hitting when you don't hit a target.Quote:

Yeah I just can't justify killing two light guns on games I rarely play.
Apparently, the Light Phaser works slightly differently than the Zapper, so I doubt the guts would be compatible.
Well the insides might be able to taken out of one and put into another but I think getting the lens right would be a problem.
