The Beatles : Rock Band - Holiday 2009

I'm so damn excited. I'm acctually going to spend my money on a guitar game and acctually care about the songs.

This Month's Game Informer (Jan 2009) Page 10, Slated for a Holiday 2009 release, Rock Band - The Beatles (I wonder if it'll be on John's death date December 8, in 2009 it'll be 29 years without John). Paul and Ringo finally eased up and let digital versions of their songs go out for distribution only by Harmonix. It's stated that there are few details, but there is an incomplete list of the songs featured, and it ain't no generic "Can't Buy Me Love" compilation.

Also, as far as instruments go, there may be two vocals, keyboard/piano and maybe orchestral tracks. I wonder If they'll remake the Rock Band Drums to look like Ringo's Ludwig set.

I am acctually surprised Ringo and paul approved of digital forms of their songs, they're so anal about that. There has been 2 CD's but they haven't been the original songs, just remixes, like the 2006 cd release "Love". Plus, The Beatles - 1, which was the original songs on CD released in 2000, was released on vinyl this year for $32, I picked the 2 vinyl set up at release.

Perfect! Odd that as I read this I am listening to Abbey Road with Here Comes The Sun playing at that moment. If the game doesn't include I Want You I will be disappointed, but I've been wanting such a game since the guitar games first came out. I never thought it would happen!
