Do you like where you are located?
Well, do you like where you live in this world? Care to describe your area?
Keep in mind I am writing a lot, since I am bored.
When I went in the military, I never knew where I was going to get stationed, let alone doing... but I got the job I wanted, and I sorta got stationed where I wanted, which was the East Coast of the USA. I put down all east coast bases and I managed to get one. My number 1 or 2 choice on my dream sheet, I don't remember since I changed it, is only 10 miles down the road! Plus I remember when everyone found out where they got stationed, I had 20 people hammer me for info, and I could cared less at the time. Hell, I called my folks and said I don't give a shit. I called back 10min later telling them haha.
I actually like where I live. I live in the DC metro area, and while I live in DC, and work there, I really don't spend much time there. I live in a "gated community" if you will, and I love the metro area.
When I say the area... I really mean Maryland and Virginia... Brandi lives in Maryland, and shopping out the ass in Virginia. OK, I loathed Maryland at first, the area near National Harbor, is pretty much DC, and there's three places with the word Heights in the name, so yeah... I've gone in these area's late at night and the only white person for miles. VERY interesting. Once I got out near College Park area, and Laurel, it's great. I hope I am stationed here for a few years, so I can get the $$$ for housing and live in Laurel. When gas was sooooo expensive, it was sooooo cheap there. I think I saw it as cheap as $1.25 a gallon there recently! :o
Virginia, well, I used to love it lots, but I-95 started to piss me off when I wanted to go to Potomac Mills and Manassas area and when I try and go there right after work, there is only one lane to get there from base, and taking I-395 isn't a good idea... Alexandria isn't too bad, I love Fairfax County and the city named Fairfax, but the surrounding highways REALLY are a pisser to drive on because toll roads pop up just like that, and the 5-0 are always out. I see more people stopped by cops in VA than MD, and DC, but then again I got a ticket in DC. :(
I dunno why I wrote this, but oh well... I was bored.
