GET YOUR ASS TO MARS!!!!!!!!!
(every thread is turning into an Arnold quote fest...me likes :D )
... With a strong bias towards one movie in particular, I've noticed.

"Cookies? Who said you could eat MY cookies???"
If you're using Dark-Alex's M33 firmware, you are able to use the 'Network Update' option from the Settings menu to update the firmware to the latest cracked version. The installer will even prompt you to download the 'official' latest firmware version to modify and install!
Also, if you press Select at the main menu to open the M33 settings menu (the same way you would alter the machine's clock speed), you can change the UMD ISO mode to use the M33 driver - this might help with your crashing applications.
[edit] Make sure you're using relatively recent applications, too. Some older stuff is only designed for the PSP-1000 and 1.50 firmware so they're pretty much worthless anyway. Newer apps should be able to take advantage of the PSP-2000's more advanced hardware etc. I use Picodrive for Mega Drive and Mega-CD emulation :]
MrMatthews: I'm running firmware 5.0 M33-4, according to my System Information screen, and I can run my games and applications just fine :)

I was all ready to come in here and get the PSP's back. Good thing I won't need to.
Yeah, I don't think the PSP came out too badly in this thread.
I'm just going to have to completely wipe it and re-install the firmware. Even the fucking update freezes on the first splash screen. Nothing will boot AT ALL except for OS applications like the internet browser, and I didn't go through all this trouble for a half-assed internet browser.
