Working on finishing Namco X Capcom, via the beta fantranslation.
It was never released in the US, and never will be because of all the cross-genre licensing.
Pros:
Fun combat
Lots of characters from everything Namco & Capcom imaginable
Weird story
Yuzo Koshiro music! (mostly remixes, but some good originals)
Cons:
Weird story
Repetitive stages(small amount of enemies, replaced by large amounts, more allies appear as backup, repeat)
Terrible translation

But hey, it's a start.
I beat the Adventures of Batman and Robin a week ago. Good times.
I didn't post sooner because I completely forgot this thread existed :) My bad.
I beat Sol-Deace with one credit the day before yesterday. The trickiest parts are the whole 5th stage and the 6th stage boss, which can consume a good number of lives....
Every time I play this game I like it more and more. Give it a little time, it's not that difficult.
Just beat Ecco the Dolphin for Sega CD. God, what a challenging and beautiful game. Absolutely just made my favorite games of all time list. Can't wait to play Tides of Time.
Seriously, the ending to Ecco is probably the best I've ever seen. So simple, but perfect. Love the shot of Ecco's pod following him out of the Tube, made all of the frustration involved in Welcome to the Machine totally worth it!
Chiki Chiki Boys. Just bought it and beat it today. Fun game and I didn't realize it was a port of the Arcade game Mega Twins (which I used to play on CPS1 emulators all the time) prior to buying it.
I've been noticing just that. After beating a level, it becomes ingrained in you. It just takes a while to find the nooks and cranies. Right now I'm trying to get passed the 6th level boss. Man, just when you think that ship's going to explode, it sends more projectiles, and different ones. Anyways, I do love this game. I've found a fondness for it I didn't see when I first played it. What I love the most is that there's nothing repetitive about the stage by stage gameplay, every enemy and level looks exquisitely unique. The graphics are great too. That is one feat you pulled, though, the most I've gone thus far without dying have been the first three levels and reaching the end of level four (by which time my lives are down to 1 or 0). It is one tough game, though. Without unlimited continues, there's no way one would have time to memorize each individual level.
I may have missed it, but what game did "A winner is you" come from......I remember playing the game and seeing that line, just cant remember which game it was....

Pretty short, but a fun game overall. I beat it on agent difficulty, but I don't know if I'm interested enough to do it on 007. I did go back and get the other single-player achievements I needed, since I got most of them on my first playthrough.

I finished the Mothership Zeta DLC for Fallout 3. Awesome but linear. I have now finished all the DLC as well as the game, with all achievements.
Time to trade it in and await the GOTY edition for PS3.

Very fun little family romp, but the difficulty seriously ramps up during the later levels. I don't see how a small child could actually finish it, as it gave me trouble in some of the more precise platforming parts. I got all the collectibles, but I won't be going back for the achievements for finishing each level without dying. Not bad at all for a $15 game.

Not a bad game but a bit too repetitive. It was a rental, which is the only reason why I didn't unlock everything, but I may go back to it when it drops in price. No online co-op was a downer, but the gameplay is pretty fun for two people on the same console. There are some AI issues, such as enemies shooting through walls and not letting you even get up before killing you again on higher difficulties, but I had fun for my $5.

Great game, though a bit too short. I loved the exploration and all the upgrades, and I will definitely be going back to get 100%. If all XBLA games were this good, I'd need two 120g HDs!
I just finished the single-player Ghost Recon 2 campaign. There's a fantastic tactical shooter under that retarded 'Tom Clancy's' label - taking it so seriously that the game is utterly cliche from start to finish. Your gruff, down-to-business character speaks in one-liners to the Stressed Army Chief In Ray-Bans before barking orders at either your OO-RAH squadmates or the AI AI AI SEŅOR Mexican forces that tag along for a couple of missions. Run from cover to cover, blast at the red diamonds, until finally Making The Ultimate Sacrifice For Your Country (fuck asking your squad what they think about being bombed to paste by friendlies), no wait we're bringing you home soldier oo-rah!
The online multiplayer is what rescues the game. Team battles are fantastic.
We should do co-op that time. I'm doing the single player campaign on the highest difficulty, and the game really seems to be much longer that way. I haven't played multi-player yet though.
Just beat Sol-Deace. :boxer:
Just finished Policenauts, and it was good. I dunno if it was just obvious, or that I'm starting to catch on to Kojima's tricks, but the ending was pretty predictable. That's a bummer as I remember getting blind-sighted playing Snatcher multiple times.
After that I beat DoDonPachi for the millionth time, I can't stay away from that game no matter how hard I try.
I just beat Trouble Shooter.:boxer:
It was shorter than I thought it was going to be. Great little game.:)

Beaten with 240/240 riddles and trophies. Incredible game and my GOTY so far. I really hope this sets a new standard for future super hero games that other companies will try to follow.

I was playing through part 4 and read someone mention that chapter 3 of that game clarifies a lot of stuff from part 3. I'd left this one on the shelf a while ago and decided it was the perfect time to finish it. What a great game! The story is typical Kojima bullshit (giving birth on the battlefield? LOL), but the action and villains rule as always. I'm going to dive back into part 4 now.

Finished on hardest difficulty. Great game, though the final battle was a pain sometimes. I did love using tanks and helicopters as back up, and calling in air strikes from a helicopter FUCKING RULED. So sad that part 3 has been delayed, but hopefully it will make for a better game.
