As of now, I am doing homework because I am an idiot slacker but thats not why I need luck. I am going job searching tomorrow, I am gonna hit up every supermarket, store, and fast food place to see if they're hiring. Got any tips? I am completely clueless by the way.

Well I asked at around 15 places and all but one said they weren't hiring at the moment. I THINK the Starbucks is hiring but the guy was talking too damn fast so I couldn't understand what he said. It was either "yea we are hiring do you want a application?" or " no we aren't hiring but do you want an application?" Either way I said yes so fingers crossed. Blockbuster was hiring but you gotta be 18. If I dont get hired at Starbucks im gonna wait 6 months(being 17 offers more job options)
I'd avoid any type of "food service" jobs. Because it is both working with the public and dealing with potentially nasty behind the scenes food secrets.
And retail work sucks your will to live and makes you hate the general public.
In my years inside the retail trenches there are things that are true:
5-10% of Americans are nice to retail employee's.
90% of Europeans and Asians are nice to retail employee's.
I base this on observations and my own independent study.

How does the passenger situation work in CA for new drivers now? Is it based on how long they've had their license, or how old they are? My sister went through it, but I guess I was just too self-absorbed to actually make a memory of it . . .

I'd just like to state that I am addicted to coffee. It is the greatest joy in my life and, when I die, I want my coffin to be filled with coffee beans so my funeral is filled with that beautiful roasted coffee scent as my corpse burns. :D
