Moonwalker was CIB for $15 over here not too long ago... I thought nah and bought super hang-on instead! Thinking back now I probably should have bought it as well!

Next thing the game would command like $70, & I don't think that's going to happen
Anyone who pays $70 for "Moonwalker" needs to be bombed off the face of the earth.
You got a point there...
I hope it dosn't come to that
Like I say in every value thread, if you think that's bad, FF VII was the second highest produced PSX game with several million copies made, yet sells for up to $90 or even more on eBay. Fanboy bullshit in full swing, especially considering it sold for YEARS at $20 NEW.
it always does, if there was a game called "Mario's lump of shit" it would outsell an actually good game 10 to 1.
I saw an ABSOLUTELY mint copy of SMB 3 for $20, but I had just been laid off (they just completely got rid of my job altogether) and didn't know how long it would be till I would get another job. I'm still pissed about that because Mario 3 is in my top 5 favorite NES games. At least I had the foresight to buy Chrono Trigger for $30 :)
I never learned how to moonwalk. :(
Space Channel 5's immense popularity?
....
:(
What about Final Fantasy 7's immense popularity?
Madness.
I never could get into that game. I have tried three times now. I just don't get it.
I feel that way about EVERY RPG, especially turn based ones. Some action RPGs are beat-em-up enough that I can tolerate them, but regular RPGs are just a mindless waste of time. No skill, no strategy, just guess and check fighting until you figure out which of 6000 items kills a certain bad guy, fucking gay. These RPG pussies need to play a real game like Metal Slug, Street Fighter II, Mega Man, Fatal Fury/other SNK fighters, etc. and stop all this weenie bullshit story nonsense with no real game substance.
...they're just video games...
The only RPG I've ever played was the original Dragon Warrior for the NES. Some of you may recall that Nintendo gave out a free copy of the game with a subscription to Nintendo Power, and it came with a handy dandy strategy guide (and I don't think I would have gotten anywhere close to completing the game without it, I think).
I had a lot of fun with that one, but I've never been compelled to pick up another game from the genre.
