Best Neo Geo Pocket Color Games?

So after watching MN12BIRD's excellent review on the Neo Geo Pocket Color, I decided that I wanted one too. So, I just bought a NGPC from Japan on eBay for twenty bucks (but I have to wait a month for shipping since I took the cheap route!) and I'm wondering if any of you have or have played this system before? If you have, what games would you recommend? I, of course, have already bought Sonic Pocket Adventure, but I'd like some other suggestions. The games aren't too expensive to pick-up so any suggestion will be taken heavily!

Really though, NGPC is the one system where the vast majority of titles are worth playing. Just avoid the Pachi-Slot games (not that you'd ever be interested in them anyway) and the casino games. Even then, the casino games aren't really terrible, just very bare-bones and dull.

I had a near complete collection at one point-amazing battery life. Might want to look into modding it with a front light. Tons of games out there and most cheap (if loose which most are) just about everything is good (best portable for fighters thanks to that clicky stick)

I loved last blade among many others.

I love the NGCP control stick. I'd like to see Nintendo use something like that on their next handheld (analog, preferably)

There is a version of Cotton. I actually have more NeoGeo pocket titles then I should after hitting the bonanza at a local thrift store. I just have not payed many of the them. I hate the screen.

I'll second Match of the Millennium and add Neo Turf Masters and Sonic the Hedgehog.

The Puzzle Bobble port for it is pretty weak, though.

The only thing keeping me from playing my NGPCs more is the screen. It's just too dim. The batteries last forever, though.

I'll probably get Puzzle Bobble too since I'm a big fan of the Bust-a-move series.

definately Metal Slug 1 and 2nd mission, love those games also SVC Match of the Millenium is really cool, I need to buy more NGPC games myself.

It's too bad the NGPC didn't last longer. It didn't get a chance to build up a very extensive library.

also, if i remember rightly IGN has a Neo Geo Pocket Colour section but I think the reviews are lumped in the Gameboy Advance section for some reason.

They were pretty lazy about it. The "Pocket" section contains GBA, GBC, NGPC, and Lynx games. And a few original Gameboy games.

If you have any other color handheld with a PB port on it, get that instead. Really. Play it on an emulator first, and make sure to adjust your monitor so the orange and pink bubbles look almost the same so you get the whole experience. It's a really weak port.

Is the Neo Geo Pocket region free like most 90's handheld gaming consoles? Because if you got a Japanese one for 20 bucks then I might pick one up, because I've noticed that North American ones are more expensive.

I guess it came out at a time when it's competition had even worse colour, which is why the reviewers probably looked past that particular fault.
