The Street Fight IV Tournament Edition stick has Sanwa parts. It destroys any Hori stick on the market. At $150 it's not cheap ($50 more than Hori).

I do not have the controller yet, but everyone I know who has it really loves it.
It is not the same quality of the Saturn controller, but really nothing else is.
Will this controller work with Xbox Live Arcade games? And how about Sonic's Ultimate Genesis collection? If it does, then I'll be spending a LOT of money over the next two weeks.
It will work on every game for the console. Some games would not play right though obviously with the missing right stick.
This is out? Where?
EDIT: InternalPrimate, I don't see why it wouldn't. The six face buttons just mirror the A,B,X, and Y buttons and one of each of the left and right triggers. As long as whatever game your playing doesn't need the other buttons, in theory it *should* all work without a hitch.
Best Buy. Also apparently Genesis Collection is being sold there early too.
DAmnit my head just exploded too.
The stingy side in me is fighting my "OMG NEED THIS NOW" side. I could save a whopping 6 bucks if I wait for GameStop to eventually get it, or get this now and indulge in some SFII HD REmix goodness now. Someone tell me what to do quick!
:D Just got back from Best Buy. They didn't have Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection, but they did have the Street Fighter IV controllers. I bought a Ken model (I prefer Ryu, but the art is just so damn fugly), and I like it a lot so far. The buttons feel good, and the size is more around a Genesis 3-button pad rather than the 6-button pad. It's a good combination.
I'll be getting Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection tomorrow, but until then, I'm going to test this baby out on SFII HD Remix and Castlevania Symphony of the Night!
How much was the controller?
I saw it for the 360.. but no PS3 ones... Guess Akuma got the shaft on the 360...
$39.95 :( Ridiculous for a Madcatz controller.
I've played a decent amount of both SFII HD Remix and Castelvania Symphony of the Night, and have a pretty solid opinion built up.
It's a good controller, but not great. It's large like the Genesis 3-button controller, but a bit more awkward due to some extra baggage on the lower back. Hard to explain, but it's there, and it's noticeable. I like the D-pad, and pulling off specials in Street Fighter is super easy. My brother watched me take down Vega with a series of Shoryukens, something not easy to do with inferior D-pads.
Still, the plastic feels a bit cheaper than I'm used to, and the shoulder buttons feel stiff. The face buttons feel very different from most other console controllers I've tried, and I like them for the most part. They're bigger and flat, which should help prevent the inevitable blisters after playing Street Fighter IV.
$40 is a lot though for a controller with limited usage. I'm hoping Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection will help justify my purchase.
The Akuma one for both platforms do not mention Blanka on the back, and the rest do not mention Akuma.
I am really pumped for the controller. I have no pads for the PC, and this would be great for that. Also I was planning to get a new mic, but I can just use my 360 one now.
Joe, just buy one of these (http://shop.ebay.com/items/_W0QQ_nkw...Q_fromZQQ_mdoZ) like I did. Works great on the PS3!
