I believe there are zero "bullet hell" shmups on the Neo Geo.

none like what your looking for thou.
Bullet hells are lame!
No, I'm pretty sure they are lame. I wouldn't think it was bad if just one or two games did that, but lately almost EVERY new shooter that comes out is bullet hell. It is a tiring gimmick. It's like "Look at us, we put more bullets onscreen than the other games. W3 4r3 h4rdc0r3!!" Lame.
1 pixel hitboxes are also lame.
I'm so glad Raiden Fighter Aces is coming out for the U.S. Xbox 360. Though I haven't played any of them in the arcades, does anyone here know if any of the games in this collection are bullet hell shooters?
Mad! I just bought an MVS mobo! its an MV1F Slot with a Unibios 2.3 chip installed. i think it was about $140 all up. I'm excited! I'm gonna start looking for some sweet cases to put it in soon and get everything ready. http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/a...80/MVfbios.jpg here she is.
Thanks for your opinions. I'll post a link to the project and document everything for you guys.
good to see you didn't buy into the typical bullshit idea that somehow the AES is better. Also, that Universe Bios 2.3 chip is a nice addition.
I thought about getting the AES on a logical matter and weighed the pros and cons and the MVS came out on top. I mean, $400+ for a modified AES and with cartridges going at about the same price? Come on, who are you kidding? And with the uni bios, I practically have an AES anyway, plus, I'm intergrating a radica sega SFII with slot hack so I have an AES/MVS/Genesis system. Everything I've ever wanted in one package.
Mmmm, owning a Neo Geo MVS cabinet has always been one of my long-term dreams. Finding PCBs and games for a good price fortunately isn't that hard, but I have zero experience with building cabinets. Nor do I have the room for it, for that matter. So it will remain a dream for the time being. But this thread definitely whets the appetite.
If you have a little bit of wood working experience, it shouldn't be hard. I built a mini arcade machine when I was 14. But I had the help of this book.
