I'm sorry to admit that I actually didn't get to play this BITD (although a friend had it), but sometime after 2000. I was very impressed. The graphics were great, the music was great, the level design and pacing was great, and best of all the controls were... well, that of a real CV game. Maybe someday I'll forgive Bloodlines and happily enjoy playing through it, but until that day comes....
