Like the title suggests, in Cool Spot, you get to control the cool little red spot that walks and wears a pair of shades. Seeing that this unsung celebrity has been stuck on billions of 7-up cans and has been seen in a few commercials, the makers decided that he deserved his very own video game at long last.
Yes, a very fitting review to one of my personal favorites. The music from the level "Off Da Wall" is both smooth and memorable. Definitely a game worth owning.
Whatever happened to anthropomorphized corporate logos?
I miss all of them.

A Joe Camel video game would have been amazing!! You could be Joe Camel and the goal of the game could be to get as many young children to smoke as humanly possible. It would have been amazing!Quote:

I really love those early Virgin games. They showcased what the Genesis could do with detailed sprites and animation.
Anybody played the sequel on Genny? It's got that pseudo-3D view like Sonic 3D Blast.
Mediocre action game with great graphics. I know most games don't stray too far off from a single game play formula, But this one gets old real fast.
By level 5, I just wanted to beat the game and be done with.
Some programming flaws that affect the game:-
-Enemies re-spawning at their original starting location when the player goes slightly off screen.
-Enemies regenerate health if the player goes little off screen, leading to frustration.
-Camera is horrid
-Not being able to look down or up when hanging on ropes.
-Enemies can shoot you through the barrier.

Not to long ago, I actually wondered why people did not post fan content on the respective game review pages. It makes total sense if you consider that someone is looking for content regarding one of their favourite games. In any case, smurted I just took a look at your video content! The videos that your team produced thus far are fantastic! Very stellar material in your portfolio!
Licensed mascot games like this usually suck. Was surprised with this one back in the day.

I completely forgot about this game until seeing this thread...I used to own this game and loved it...can't wait to play it again
