Yes. It's very common they have the true ending in only the harder settings and go for a "Now play on a higher difficulty!" ending on easy.
Maybe I should of asked it this way......How many difficulty settings are there? All I see is easy & normal.
There are two AFAIK, easy and normal. Normal must be this "hardest" Ken is speaking of, unless the game unlocks a "hard" when you beat the game on normal, a la Twinkle Tale.
I'm trying it on normal now and then... It's a bitch, mostly because of the piss-poor controls.
yes,
it unlocks a hard mode once you beat the game in normal.
You guys didn't know about Expert difficulty and how to get it? I don't mean this sarcastically, but I'm honestly surprised. But, and save yourself some time, and just put this in at the title screen for CV:B...
up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A
It unlocks Expert difficulty so you can select it in the options menu. You'll hear a sound effect go off if you've done it correctly.
I have a boner for this game. I'm comfortable admitting that.
Do it when the menu options are showing. Move the selection Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B,A. You'll here the confirm noise.
Go into options and pick Extreme. (If you want)
Also of note: If you then set the BGM Soundtest to 05, play it and SFX to 073, play it. Then exit the menu you will have the classic CV music start in the game when your weapon is fully powered up.
Do that one first, and then enter the extreme mode code, and you'll unlock the option for 9 lives.
This shit was burned into my childhood brain much like ABACABB
Shit. My bad TheEdge. I forgot to specifically mention which "title" screen. Thanks for helping him KD :)
Thanx, KD, I'll try that when I get off of work.
1 more question......Is there any differences between the Castlevania: Bloodlines that was manufacturered in Mexico and the one manufactured in the US?? As you know from the "New Nomad" thread that I have the Mexican manufactured version. Just wondering if there is any differences between the two.
Np
