Fight Night Round 4 baby! With new boxers, a new boxing system, revamped graphics, and all kinds of new goodies, this is on my buy immediately list. And yours?
I'll check back here in once the biggies are announced and showcased at E3.
But right now, not much of anything, really. The only game I'm really looking forward to is Zelda Spirit Tracks.

After seeing footage of Bioshock 2, I'm actually pretty excited about the release of that game, even though the last one (to me) was moderately disappointing. I'm going to rent it before I buy it.

Actually I'm completely out of touch with modern gaming. PS2 is the newest system I own. I've played the newer stuff at a friend's house, but none of it interested me enough to shell out more money for another system.
I'm most excited for Contra Rebirth to get a North American release. It's been out in Japan since Tuesday.

Well after giving the Fight Night Round 4 demo several playthroughs, I don't know if I am excited for it anymore. One thing is true, it is nothing like 3. Graphically, the changes are welcome since three was dark and didn't have much of a color spectrum. Gameplay wise, fighting is much different as you really get inside on a guy to fight him, gone is the distance where you throw punches and dodge. Blocking is retooled as you either block up or down, not top right or whatever like the previous installment. Blocking at just right time gives you a split second to punch a guy. Leaning is slower so dodging isn't as easy as before. Four is more realistic than three but is real always better? After the round is over, gone is the cutman mini game. You get points based on your previous round performance, points you use to heal damage or replenish health and stamina. Getting knocked down triggers a small mini game were you steady your self by straightening out your character left or right then going up to resume the fight. I'm gonna rent it before I decide to buy it.
