question about 360 memory ...

atm i have got the arcade model with 256mb inbuilt,, i have around 40mb left.

what im looking at doing is on friday buy another 256mb memory unit to go into the memory slot.. but my question is. when i use this memory card and start to save game saves onto it.. is it going to affect my other memory, or will it have any effect on my xbox live?? . or can i just plug it in and just use it like i normally would with my internal memory??

I dont think it should, since whatever I do on the memory unit doesn't affect by internal memory and vice-versa.

Haven't played my 360 in forever, but I'd tend to agree--just don't move your player profile over to the memory card, leave it internal.

This is correct.

Really, though, I'd just get a used hard drive and install your games to it. It'll make it quieter and cooler, and it'll really help you out in the long run!
