Sega-16: Year Five Retrospective

This Saturday, Sega-16 celebrates its fifth anniversary. After half a decade, we're not only still here, we're better than ever. Though the past twelve months haven't been as eventful as some of the previous years, we've still made some great strides, and the site has remained consistent in both the quality and the quantity of its updates. I've shared my thoughts on the subject in this year's retrospective, so please do check it out.

A hearty thank you goes out to all our staff members, contributors, readers, and forum members; without whom this site simply would not exist.

I love Sega-16, particularly the well considered and professional reviews.Only one area of coverage missing imo and that's development content.

I would love to see Sega-16 with some development details and forum, similar to what www.smspower.org has done for the Master System. There's still a lot of interest in Genesis development but no real central point of focus where information is gathered and stored/discussed.

Congrats Ken! I have had quite a few websites in the past decade and none have lasted longer than 2 years. I know how much time and energy it takes to do what you do! Keep up the work, same goes to all of the staff :D

I discovered this site back in July of 2004 and even though I rarely post in the forums, I have learned a lot here over the years. I learned about the inner workings of Sega back in the day, of game reproductions, about new translations of games and even totally new productions.

I have made some satisfying transactions with people I have met here and have greatly increased the size of my collection based on the veracity of the reviews posted here.

I am truly amazed that you have been able to maintain the dedication required to keep this a fresh and vibrant site. Here's to another 5 years:p

Thanks for a great site! Always a good resource for info as well as interesting discussions. My early visits to the site resulted in a trade of gaming equipment and games and it was a pleasant experience. Thanks again.

We'd have no where to go if it wasn't for this site Ken, you say it's tough to get a feature in once a week, some of us find it hard to post on this forum frequently (even though in my case I'm always reading the material) so it's a testament to you and the other contributors dedication that ye keep getting great material up here so regularly..

I have recently been a keen reader on all of the content that has been posted onto this site. I am very impressed with everything you have here and I am glad to be involved and part of a great community.
