Go Linux, problem solved (but others might appear).
Linux. Even the mere pronounciation of it tastes good. I hear there will be a new handheld with open source, linux OS. Check it out:

I don't really advocate emulation, but it is supposed to run primarily these kinds of engines. Also, it can be run as a mini laptop. What do you think?
Here is a link to the gem in comparison with the DS lite:

I don't need a hand held to run Linux, I got full featured PC to do that. :p
Try Lavasoft Ad-Aware. It's a free Spy- and Malware Scan and Removal tool and has served me well throughout many years (It's made in Germany, so you know it's gotta be a quality product ;) ).
And yeah, I pite the fool who still uses IE. I'd suggest Firefox as well. I'm getting used to Google Chrome as well by now.
I think there have been Linux hand-helds for awhile, but they're unintentionally underground. The GP2X Wiz just hit the streets a few weeks back, and it's theoretically freaking sweet and supposedly does really good Genesis/SCD emulation plus it has a 320x240 OLED screen (!). Someone really needs to get one of these and let us all know how incredibly super sweet it is. Any rich volunteers?
The Pandora does look cool, especially with it's physically-larger and 800x480 screen (nice res, but it's LCD). Unfortunately, it's vaporware and has been for some time (may change in the future), but the Wiz is here now.
First, let me thank everyone who has posted until now for allowing this thread to live longer than it should've.
So, thank you.
On the matter of spam trigger words, problem solved: It's FireFox from now on. I had to convert someday, anyway, so I figured why not now.
Also, reaching the topic of new handhelds: What's the latest on the sega vision? Last I heard it was only available as a prize in UFO Catchers, that its popularity in arcade shops would determine wether or not it would be sent to retail stores. (Perhaps we should start a new thread on this, if there isn't one already). I also read somewhere that, depending on its rise in popularity, a "model 2" might come out with actual video game capabilities.
Well Im certainly sorry to hear that your friend has steered you wrong, but theres really not much we can do about that.
Just out of curiosity, what product is your friend using thats so much more amazing?
